February 10th, 2022 08:37 PM #147If I am to believe the trip computer, nakaka 17 to 19 km/L ako every morning. CVT tranny. Alabang-Zapote -> Cavitex -> NAIAX -> Skyway -> EDSA. Before 6 AM yan so more or less walang traffic at ang takbo ko 60kph siguro on average.
On a normal drive within Las Pinas, with traffic at going through side streets na panay humps, around 8 km/L.
I haven't done the full tank method though.

February 10th, 2022 08:45 PM #148the last time i did the full tank method,
the tank won.
classic VW beetle.
we forgot that we had earlier that day brought the fuel tank down.
we forgot to re-calibrate it upon re-installation.
the gas station was just two blocks down.
the difficult part was getting the appropriate container...Last edited by dr. d; February 10th, 2022 at 08:48 PM.

to be fair to the car (GLS)
normally naka-convoy kami dito sa Pinas... I was trying to keep up with a Fortuner and Corolla, we did multiple trips to the North.
Malaysia - parang suggestion lang speed limit dun
For my personal comparison.
Now that I'm driving a City (no convoys)
I normally get 9-10km/l Alert Level 3, 8-9km/l on Alert Level 2 (Metro Manila and SLEX)
Best F/C I'm getting on my City is at NLEX/SCTEX - 20km/l (less than 80kph)
Pero it goes down to 15km/l sa TPLEX (maintaining the speed of 110kph)
