Wala naman big difference in power-to-weight ratio yung Mirage 1.2L sa Vios 1.3L. Despite the power difference (99 vs 78), the Vios is significantly heavier (1000kg vs 800kg).
Both are underpowered in my opinion. The Jazz, Fiesta, and Mazda2 are just about right in terms of power-to-weight ratio.
