Hi! Question sa mga new montero owners (esp. GLS A/T owner)
Meron na bang shift lock yung new monty? Wherein you have to step on the brake when shifting from P to R? Yung outgoing models kasi wala. You can shift from P to R kahit hindi nakaapak sa brake. TIA.

You need to step on the Brake pedal for the following :

- P to any gears (press shiftlock)
- R to any gears (press shiftlock)
- D/N to P or R (press shiftlock)
- to start the engine
- to release the hand brake

Park light po yan sa GLS Standard. Ang DRL po nyan sa Fog Lamp.

All variants have LED DRL except the GLS 4X2. I love the LED DRL and leather seats of GLS premium. But a price difference of 185k(deducted pre order 60k discount both from SRP) between the GLS and GLS premium seems prohibiting to me with our limited budget. I hope I could just add the LED DRL to the GLS headlight at a lesser cost if this is possible

Me DRL din po yung GLS standard.. pero nasa Fog lamp po.. naka dual bulb po sya. Pero meron din po sya pilik mata sa ibabaw ng headlamp park light po sya.

Balintawak. kinuha ko po yan before the event sa world trade kaya 60k discount lang po pero Free LTO sya. GLS A/T standard lang po.

Okay naman po ang ride comfort? Nag test drive kami sa WTC and ang ganda ng ride niya, magaan yung steering wheel compared sa previous models. yun nga lang, limited lang yung pagdrive and mabilis lang kaya di ko masyado na feel and iba pa rin kung matagal mo na dina-drive

my tire pressure monitor is showing 33.2psi sa front tires and 34psi sa rear. ayun yung stock. pansin ko medyo matagtag. did you happen to change yours? ano kayang optimal? usually ako lang nakasakay

napansin ko sa decal sa door ay 29psi lang dapat sa front....

36psi yung likod kapag 6pax or more daw sakay....

guys/gals, about to take delivery of the 2016 model. dealership is Peaks (part of Union motors group daw), apparently they wont accept GPS tracker for installation because it wasn't bought from them - Winterpine....so they now call the shots and Mitsu casa is powerless about this? feeling pissed....

second question, sino na nagpalit busina? bumili na ako ng Denso horn...kaso mukha mali ata..kasi peeking thru the lower grill ay single connector lang sya....samantala nabili ko ay 2connector type. can anyone affirm this? t.i.a.

thirdly, mga ilang mileage by on the ODO ang reasonable? ida-drive pa daw fm. Paco stn eh.....

What's a GPS tracker for and who will be installing it? Pa-install mo na lang sa labas and i guess it wont affect warranty. ( or remove it if something goes wrong )
How much are they charging you for someone to drive it from their Paco casa? Am about to receive one from PEAK motors din next week

Sabi ko nga di ba what I like in Monty are the engines and powertrains. Kaso almost or more than 100k pricey sya compare sa competition...which powerwise if youll look at the power-curve/chart. not that impressive din. Sa power curve/chart ng new G series ng toyota pa ko bilib. Flat and wide span yung Torque an HP. Sa 4N15. Peaky yung line sa chart

Sa Horn, you can get the other connector from body Ground.

I'm planning to change my horn as well.. OK kaya yung Bosch Europa?

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines announces strong start for 2016

Montero Sport accounts for almost a third of Mitsubishi's sales

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has just announced that they have started the year strong with January 2016 sales. By their accounts, January's sales registered a 50% rise compared to the same period last year.

A total of 4,867 units were sold last month and almost a third of which were accounted for by the Montero Sport. 806 units were of the all-new model while the previous generation likewise registered 816 units.

MMPC says that deliveries are underway for the more than 3000 buyers who reserved their units.

According to Froilan Dytianquin, MMPC's First Vice President for Marketing that “in spite of the issues that
hounded the Montero Sport last year, we are truly delighted with the outcome of total reservations received as well as actual sales turnout last month. It confirms the market's confidence in the Montero Sport brand.

The new Montero Sport was launched last month and features new styling, new features, as well as a new 4N15 2.4L MIVEC Clean Diesel engine and an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The prices of the 2016 Montero Sport start at PhP 1,500,000 for the GLS 2WD 8-AT and top out at PhP 1,998,000 for the GT 4WD.

“I believe that you cannot really put a good product down,” continued Dytianquin. “We are also pleased that the sales of the predecessor Montero model which we intend to continue selling also sold 200 times more than last December. I believe that in spite of the introduction of the new generation model, they still find this GLX model to have outstanding value for money proposition.”

We got ours at 72km odo reading. Mukhang nag joyride muna ang casa. ������

Planning to install hella horn para masakit sa tenga. But the mechanic at union has told it will be his first time to install it kaya sabi ko sige sa 1k pms na lang para at least experienced na sya sa pag kabit.
