I'd like to ask some personal reactions to an opinion I read when the Montero Sport was compared to the Fortuner.
Eto yung exact words na nasabi:
You want interior space? Fortuner. You want drivability? Montero Sport.
You want fun to drive? Montero Sport.
You want a more premium feel? Fortuner.
I don't want to start a bad argument mga sir, I just want to understand what could he mean when he said "more premium feel" towards the Fortuner.
Of course this is his personal opinion, I was just wondering if this is also acceptable to Montero owners.
Sirs between the GT and GLS Premium, which is a better buy? Most of the time, it will be a daily ride to work and from time to time trip to the province and sa bukid ni gf... Will be welcoming all insights from you sirs...
What code can permanently remove the PMS required warning for the HU?

What I can say is that as far as exterior is concerned the Fort looks the most elegant among its peers. The Montero has this aggressive and edgy look that I also like and I ended up buying it.
Interior wise, at least for GLS vs G variant, Montero feels more premium. I like the leather on the console of the Fort but the orange fabric ruins it.
My highly subjective 2 cents.![]()

Hi Maetsuen. I was actually waiting for the fort to come out prior to buying a new SUV. I had the chance to test drive both the monty and fort (and the other SUVs as well), and "finely scrutinize" and check almost everything against comments/feedbacks (check forums like this, meron din thread dito sa tsikot na comparing the latest SUVS). I also did paper specs comparison but I made sure to go back to the dealerships to experience those SUVs again. Eto opinion ko lang din, and the fort really has a much premium feel mostly due to mas imposing ang presence ng plastic parts ng monty compared sa fort. This "plasticky feel" was made more pronounced due to the tight interior space of the monty as it felt like na parang CUV yung monty. Pero dahil din dito, mas fun to drive nga ang monty as you are more engaged pag drinadrive mo sya. Heck, even the facelifted trailblazer has an even more premium feel than the monty, pero prior to the facelift, ma plastic din ang trailblazer, gaya ng twin nya na MUX. I suggest you test drive and check the vehicles. Theres no substitute in experiencing it first hand as well as being able to scrutinize the vehicles. All of dem SUVs are good vehicles, and the decision will boil down to what will make you happy.

Tried to back read the thread but having difficulty to find about mirrorlink. Can anyone share the proper steps on how to mirror link samsung phones into our montero head unit? Can you share the proper steps? We're having difficulty about this matter as the manual doesn't state detailed steps. Thanks in advance
I would agree with his assessment.
The 2016 Fortuner's leather accents on the door and the dashboard give it a more premium feel.
The Montero is more fun to drive and the ride is more comfortable; My mom who is 80+ says she has an easier time getting in and out compared to our Fortuner.
my 2 cents.
Thx
