maybe the apple green of the crosswind best approximates the mirage's kermit (the frog) green.. heh heh.
i had a lime green car many years ago. OEM VW color! and everyone knew where i went! i can't even park near mga lugal na kaduda-duda, for fear someone who knew me, might pass by..

Di ko mafigure ang actual color na green kapag nasa actual roads na, ganda kase ng lighting sa PIMS event.

like green - Jazz, mazda2, cherry QQ , spark???
Same green as jazz and spark.

Mitsubishi PH gets first-ever left-hand-drive Mirage unit

If you were at last weekend's 4th Philippine International Motor Show and you happened to stop by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines' booth, you probably saw the crowd that never seemed to dissipate around the all-new Mirage subcompact hatchback.

The Mirage is MMPC's entry to the highly competitive subcompact car segment, which we've written about numerous times both in print and online. And the Pop Green Metallic-colored unit you saw on display at the show? It's actually very special since it's the very first left-hand-drive model to roll out of Mitsubishi's Laem Chabang plant in Thailand.

That's right, it's the very first--and so far, the only--left-hand-drive unit to be made at Mitsubishi's sole Mirage manufacturing facility in the world.

"We asked Mitsubishi Thailand to make a left-hand-drive unit specifically for the show so they had to squeeze it in while continuing to produce right-hand-drive units for Thailand and other right-hand-drive markets," said MMPC ad and promo manager Arlan Reyes.

Reyes added that the unit on display still isn't a Philippine-specification model, but it is "pretty close to it."

So, if you're a serious car collector and you want to add the very first left-hand-drive, sixth-generation Mitsubishi Mirage to your collection, you could perhaps make MMPC an offer it can't refuse.

We've also been told by MMPC that, as of the motor show's closing last Sunday, August 19, it had already received over 80 reservations for the Mirage.

    almost.

yung difference lang yung Rear Door (Tailgate/Hatch) ng mirage is using mechanical latch not the electric latch used on the ASX. in order to open yung hatch ng mirage w/o taking out the key, you need to press the black button first then open hatch with the door handle.

unlike dun sa ASX electric yung rear latch same as our '11 Sorento. once you press the door switch to open the tailgate, it also senses the smart key. so even the vehicle is locked, once you press the tailgate switch w/ your smart key in your pocket, it will open as if di nakalock.

Good share bro. ETACS of Mirage is clear advantage over its competitors in the subcompact category without sacrificing its price.

probably, more on appearance nalang changes niyan sir. the features won't differ.

one difference i bet is the seat color.

tingin ko magiging all black yan pati dash. PHDM units lagi iniiwasan yung light colors dumihin kasi saatin.

yung mga ibang difference na tinutukoy yung mga naka front, side and rear bodykits, and yung mga aftermarket rims na nilagay sa mirage.

agree. quite surprising nga that these features were reserved to high-end cars a few years back. now available na sa mirage.

ayaw ko lang sa Push Button Start is walang way to put the setting to ACC mode after ON mode.

to start the engine, BRAKE + Push the button for A/T, CLUTCH + Push the button for M/T
for ACC mode, the engine must be off, push the button w/o pressing the brake/clutch.

so you must turn off the engine first then press the button para maging ACC mode which is a problem for me kasi yung Winterpine supplied china HU nung sorento takes a loooong time to reboot. sa OEM radio wala sigurong problema kasi seconds lang ok na.

whenever a new small car comes around, i always sit at the driver's seat first and adjust it to my liking. then i go to the seat behind and see if i fit. to my surprise, in the new mirage, i fit! yeah, the rear seat feels like a bench (bangko!) but hey! it folds down.. then i inquire for the price, and i still fit! my only problem is, san ko ipaparada..

yes bank PO is accepted for 40K discount (cash & freebies) since it is good as cash til oct. 31 reservation.

For Mirage display unit, just contact your dealer and inform them to remind you once it is available for viewing. HTH

the rear seats dont look good.hehe. i'm surprised too. legroom and headroom were fine. i'm a bit large guy. but for the rear. it will only seat two comfortably. the center tunnel is big and i think there won't be sufficient elbow room for three adults.
