    mga tsikooters at monty owners kindly check po ung mga gas tank nyo for possible "rust". My silent recall ang gas tank ng montero. Pag na contaminate ng kalawang ang gas tank nyo mag check engine siya. Hope this help our fellow monty owners. Paki confirm na lang po sa mga service advisor natin.Thank you god bless

    How did you know there is a silent recall?
    Pinalitan ba gas tank mo kahit wala kang reklamo?

    Is this rust from the inside or outside of the fuel tank? I often wash my Mobty's undercarraige, and I don't detect any.

    Please post some pictures of the rust so we may be informed. TIA

    Yes bossing. I have a mechanic friend who works at mit service i saw my gas tank and it was full of rust inside

    Inside bossing. My sa told me na everytime na mag lagay ng gas ung mga gasoline boys natatamaan nila ung gas tank ( i dont know the term ung parang baril na pinapasok sa gas tank)then natatanggal ung coating nito kaya nagkakaroon ng rust.

    Mahirap atang silipin ang loob ng fuel tank ah....
    one way to confirm, kalasin ang fuel filter and check rust sediments/particles
