*gpd77, based on my experience. I got my unit by 1st week of Feb 2011. I got my plate almost 2 months after (Note: I have a special plate). I have officemates which got their units (not a Strada) almost the same time as I am, they got it almost after 3 months. Fyi. But for my unit, I stll have no sticker, ang sabi nang SA ko.. it is due to the special plate.

Yes, if traffic police or LTO will apprehend you. They will use it as your violation.

If you have a CR/OR but no plate available, just bring a photocopy and put a temporary plate.

Camera can be installed at any car accessories shop. Around P3K ata ang infra-red camera.

sakin 2 months inabot, request ko 4 lang and i told them i am willing to wait basta 4 lang, gusto ko pa nga longer waiting para maubos ang P pero lumabas na in 2 months

finally I decided to buy strada GLX manual but the price has gone up to 925K from the previous price of 905K plus 28K insurance premium (total 953K) libre na daw LTO registration, what do you think mga sirs?

i believe 925 talaga yung unit price. then they use to have a discount-on-paper na 20 thou. that's why lumalabas na 905.
so they don't have the 20 thou discount anymore?

btw, sa manila dealers po yan.
im not sure sa iba.

i believe 6 weeks to 2 months.
i thought before 1 mo is the norm pero parang unheard of na ata ang ganon kabilis.
in my case i i got my unit and requested for a 5 ending, kaya mas natagalan yata.
they are saying na kapagka same yung month purchase and ending na you requested mas mabilis.
since i assume you got your unit ng May (5), dapat di ganon katagal.
tska parang ive been reading dito sa forums na dipende din sa dealer eh.
san niyo po ba nakuha yung unit?

then regarding sa no plate no travel. i bet ang sabi sa inyo ng agent niyo the invoice with the corresponding date would suffice.
i for one ganon lang, and never had a problem. (though makati is not part of my daily route where doon ata mahigpit)
but i read some posts na saying di daw tinatagnap yung simple invoice.
and na may lto document talalaga which says something like "plates not yet available". try asking your agent regarding that

gud day mga master,,need help lng po, my sister rely like strada and she ask me if ok lng po bang mag crdi if short distance lng ang kanyang travel every day ave of 6km lng or aprox. 5000km lng per year ang kanyang travel as i check her service record of her recent car. sory wala ako idea about new crdi engine especially minimum distance required for this type of engine,old diesel/petrol kasi type ko. trip lng daw niya kasi sumtimes mag load kasi sya ng plenty of stuff, magpakarga nalang sya sa pickup ng uncle namin feugo isuzu yon,no idea rin yong uncle namin about crdi, specially minimum distance required.mayroon kasing nagsabi if short distance lng better use petrol car.. ty po in advance sa reply.....

Sir gpb77 share ko lang yung sa akin about "no plate no travel' ng HPG lagi ako pinapara hinahanap yung papers na extended conduction permit. Sa akin more than 3 weeks palang yung STRADA ko, every week padala sa akin yung SA sa email yun lang ang e print ko at ipakita sa HPG pag pinara nila ako. Sabi ng SA aabot daw ng 2 months bago makuha ang plate so lagi silang padala sa akin ng extended conduction permit na mag expire with in 7 days.

Mga sir I would like to ask something, The engine warning light goes on Bakit po kaya? I already cleaned my EGR 2 weeks after na nakakaraan. Is this related to EGR Cleaning? yesterday lang siya umilaw.
