sir beni, unichip from speedlab medyo expensive,49K with harness. Sayang nga 2 years ago, 33K lang yung complete set, hindi ko pa kinuha kasi under warranty pa ung strada ko that time. anyways baka meron maka pag point sa akin kung saan meron ibang alternative na friendly sa wallet. TIA

Happy new year to all Strada gurus, I've been reading this thread for almost 2 months now, nabasa ko na din ang 972 pages na naka archive, that is why instead of getting the 2010 Hyundai Tucson I opted for a Strada. In a couple of weeks I will be getting my Strada GLX color gemstone gray. I am very grateful for all the informations that I have read here with regard to the Strada. But I have few questions, I hope the experts may spare their precious time

15inch rim vs 16 inch rim

1. If I will use 15inch rim with 15x31x10.5 tires instead of 16 inch rim with 265x70xr16 AT, would there be any difference in the handling and comfort? does it void the warranty?

2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of a 15 inch rim with 15x31x10.5 tires as compare to 16 inch rim with 265x70xr16 AT tires?

- I know one advantage if I use 15 inch rim, it is cheaper than the 16 inch as well as the tire.

-pareho lang ba ang diameter ng 15x31x10.5 tires and the 265x70xr16?

- I've read somewhere na may gumamit ng 15inch rim pero di pwede mag wheel balance???!

My intention is gusto ko lang to have a macho look on my glx, (not necessarily offroader) but at the same time save on budget. Ang budget ko pa la sirs on a new rim and tires is 60k-70k. Thank you and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!

- I've read somewhere na may gumamit ng 15inch rim pero di pwede mag wheel balance???! -Tatama ata ang stick-on wheel weights. I can't even insert my little finger between the rear drum brake and the inner wheel rim. Pero baka pwede gawan ng paraan.-

Mga sirs just an advice po there are a lot of chips available in the market, im not saying this because i have my own but, you will not have an upgrade of HP and Torque if you boost is still the same (14.7 psi. standard boost) you will only spend money for the same power. Just save up and upgrade with the proper chip that really gives you what you want. Not even a boost surge will be visible until your boost cut control is not modified.

Just Save up for the proper upgrades the good ones is a bit expensive most of the times.

Sir As long As the boost cut sensor are still unmodified hindi ka lalagpas nag 14.7 psi. So kahit annong lagay na chip if your boost is still stock pressure the hp and toque are still limited sayang lang pera. I have done this already kaya alam ko ang feeling hehehhehehehehehe.

Just save up for the proper modification, para naman ma sagad ang power nag ating STRADA.

a 1psi of additional boost if good enough kesa sa wala.

sprint booster sells for 15k here sa area namin. Sabi ng installer all it does is to modify the signal from the throttle para mas ma aga yung response, di daw affected yung ecu.

imo, i'd rather save for a proper chip than buy that.
