Pero may nakita ako sa service booklet page E24, 15k ang palit ng synthetic oil at filter na recommended sa PMS (w/o turbo charger). Everytime na change oil ako ng 10k ay okey pa kulay ng langis, yung filter malinis pa rin.

Try ko kaya na every 10k na palit ng oil filter?

Routine is every 5k (5, 15, 25, 35k...) Palit ng oil filter, at top up na 0.3liter na oil. Pero sisingilin ka ng 1liter of oil (615pesos) at labor na 1k pesos. Actually, pwede mong hingin yung excess oil para sa next na 5k, or hwag ka na pa-top up kasi within the range pa rin naman yung oil then makatipid ka pa ng 615 pesos.

Kung nababantayan mo yung actual na PMS e pwede mo pang I-insist na check yung mga bolts sa underchasis, usisa mo na rin at ng ikaw mismo makakita ng pang-ilalim.

Actually ako rin dati nagpapatop-up at change oil filter din every 5k kms sa mitsu ko pero nung nagford ako at pinapatop up-an ko yung sasakyan ko hindi daw adviceable na magpaganun kasi hindi naman daw nababawasan yung oil nun, at kapag nabawasan daw ibig sabihin nun may leak. Kaya di na ko nagpapaganun every 5k both sa mitsu at ford ko, wala naman angal dun ang mitsu. Change oil na lang talaga every 10k.

Ang mahal ng quote ng City motors bro Noel..sa carworld nung nagpa heavy check up ako ng 40k km P12000 inabot niya..nagmahal yung check up kasi sa transmission oil ng GLS SE, dual kasi kaya siguro x2 din yung price..hehehe

Actually ako rin dati nagpapatop-up at change oil filter din every 5k kms sa mitsu ko pero nung nagford ako at pinapatop up-an ko yung sasakyan ko hindi daw adviceable na magpaganun kasi hindi naman daw nababawasan yung oil nun, at kapag nabawasan daw ibig sabihin nun may leak. Kaya di na ko nagpapaganun every 5k both sa mitsu at ford ko, wala naman angal dun ang mitsu. Change oil na lang talaga every 10k.

0.3li Beni, pero hindi sapat yun para bumaba sa minimum yung oil.

Anyway, ang concern ko ngayon yung oil filter. Binaklas ko kasi yung huling filter na ginamit at malinis then intact pa. Sa service booklet is 15k under normal use, pag heavy use at may turbo charger is 5k ang palit ng oil at filter.

Traditionally, iniinsist pa rin ng casa ang every 5k sa filter at 10k sa oil.

This happened to me. 5k + odo ko (now) and 14mos old pa lang yun asx. *4k sinundot ko na yun 5k pms last march dahil more than 6mos ago na yun huling pms (1k). And the cost of 1 & 5k pms is the same (almost php4k ata -Citimotors makati). Fully syn oil nilagay nila.

Usually used once a week. 2-3x a week start- idle from 15-30mins.

Yearly pag hindi na-aabot ang mileage, change oil & oil filter ang common plus sundin na rin kung saan papatak ang check up, kung light, regular or heavy check up.

Once a year, yung ang recommended. Pero naka-state din sa service manual na 15k ang palitan ng langis at filter, with turbo or under severe usage is 5k.

Yung pinagpalitan ng langis(10k) ng asx vs diesel engine (5k, mineral oil) mas maganda pa yung sa asx.

Nagpa-quote din ako sa Motorplaza (Dagupan) 19300. Palit cvtf, brake fluid, gear oil, coolant at yung regular PMS.

You can just DIY it if you are feeling up to it .... just take note of properly tucking the wires so it wouldn't get caught by the feet of passengers.

Just curious if you are going to mount the rear cam on the hatch itself or on the ceiling so you can still see the rear if you have the rear hatch open.

You can install it yourself. It's just a matter of tucking in the wires inside the trims and plugging the power cable in. If it has parking mode and you want it to be always on, you need to buy a cutoff device and tap a fuse. More complicated but you can also do it yourself.
