July 13th, 2009 08:28 PM #1491Baka gusto nila pataasin ang resale value ng mga Lancer EX, kasi yung previous generations ng Lancer ang baba ng resale. Tapos kapag na-reach nila yung certain level, saka sila makikipag-compete uiit peso-for-peso.

O.T.
RAV4 and Lancer EX is the only japan CBU sold in our country today, correct me if im wrong to this... look at the price of this 2 vehicle.. overprice.. Only in the philippines
Lancer Ralliart in the US is also japan CBU, but the cost of this if you converted to pesos is only($25,910 x49) 1.27M, while the high end Lancer EX is around($19,010x49) P931,000.00.. The problem here is our duties and taxes..sobrang taas kaya mahal yung auto dito sa pilipinas..maybe to some dealer also... mitsubishi Grandis in thailand is more expensive than Montero sport.. you can check their website....

July 14th, 2009 04:14 PM #1496Nagpunta ako sa Mitsubishi dealer last weekend. Maganda nga talaga itong car na to. Malaki at parang masarap i-drive.
Kaso nga lang diko maubos maintindihan kong bakit:
Baka the delearship is trying to squeeze a few hundred peso from the buyer.
2. kelangan na tig-5k ang PMS. Tingin ko nmn matibay ito. Lalo na kung CBU from japan. Bakit ang honda, mazda, ford e tig-10k at ito namn ay 5k..
losing a car for a single day is quite hard for someone like me. Kaya I dont want to go to the casa as much as possible.
Pero - kung sa looks lang, e panalo siguro tong car na to. Wala akong makitang ibang car na mas maganda e..
Sana me lumabas na 1.8ltrs priced at 850k'ish.. mas solve siguro...

July 14th, 2009 04:39 PM #14981. Sir if you can afford something within the price range of a Civic, Lancer, Altis, Impreza and higher, then this should really be of no consequence financially. Malay mo, will save you a blown engine down the road
Not to defend MMPH, but not all cars and engines will be the same and baka recommended talaga for the 4B11 engine setup is to have the oil changed after 1k. Try checking with other service casas to see kung required ang oil change after 1k kms.
2. Sir tig 5K din lahat ng kotse namin - we only have Hondas and Toyotas at home though. I'd also refer back to my first paragraph - mahal mahal ng kotse, tinipid pa sa maintenance. That's just asking for it.
You can always choose to miss every other 5K PMS, pero if you intend to keep the car for long and kung nasira ang kotse in the long term, it will be easy to pinpoint why.
About the 1.8L Lancer, I agree 1000% - would really give the civic a run for its money, seeing how the 2.0L lancers are priced in the range of 1.8L civics.

For comparison: the new honda's, the mazda's and the fords have PMS scheduled every 10k. Hindi sya a matter of tinipid ng buyer. Yun talaga schedule. So I was just wondering why the difference. I was thinking, kung diesel siguro dapat 5k PMS nga, pero a modern gas engine should be like that (every 10k PMS that is). Pero un-informed opinion ko lang nmn.
Although regarding the 1k checkup - as far as I can tell, synthetic daw ang nakalagay dun sa brand new car. You can ask your SA if you have this car, pero the initial info I got was synthetic daw sya. So why would it need to be replaced so soon?
Baka nga kelangan - but the reason elludes me.
Here's another one: And why I insist on going higher up on the allowable viscosity than what...
Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
