Sir GH, bakit octane rating lang nakalagay sa gas pump, ung cetane rating ng diesel pump walang nakalagay? or hindi ko lang napapansin....

Is there a point to having the cetane rating for diesel? ... Given you only have one grade of diesel to choose from.

Yes, you can use V-Power. But benefits from using v-power will vary vehicle to vehicle because of engine design.

Hi all, I finally got my EX GLX 1.6 M/T, ask ko lang kung ano ba dapat ikakarga ko? Kagabi kasi pagkarelease sa akin nagpafull tank lang ako ng Unleaded sa Shell eh. So sana ok lang ito. Then kung ano ang recommended ninyo guys I will start using it on my next loading from there on. Pasensya na newbie talaga ako pagdating sa sasakyan. Thanks

Given its a MIVEC engine, yes, it could benefit.

Benefit? yes.. how much? you wont probably feel it.. but our manual for the 1.6L 4A92 engine states minimum 95RON.

I'm using petron xcs kasi 95 octane rating nito and yun din ang recommended as per manual..ska dun sa sticker sa loob ng fuel cover..

nung nag byahe ako ng pampanga naka 13.9 km/l ako based on the mid. hindi ko pa nasukat manually..from home to office naman daily route ko nakaabot ng 9.7 km/l..antipolo to mandaluyong and back..i hope gumanda pa kasi wala pa ko 1k km tinakbo eh..

Oonga eh hindi ko na nahintay, kasi nabigla ako nitong Mitsubishi eh ung binigay kong ultimatum sa SA ko na last week, ayun biglang tumawag may unit na daw, hindi na din ako tumanggi kasi birthday ko din nun hehe And so far happy naman ako dito sa EX.

About sa FC, ayusin ko muna yung settings kasi parang hindi yung Km/Liters ang andun eh. So alamin ko muna kung pano baguhin yun.

Or if you know sir, could you please instruct me? hehe TIA.

Yan ang hinihintay ko, yung kung anong ipapakarga ko na saktong 95 Octane Rating hehe Kasi once pa lang ako nakapagpakarga, yun nga yung unleaded, hindi pa siya ubos, mga 3/4 pa ng full tank ang natitira. hehe So next time jan na ako sa Petron lagi, XCS. Thanks!

kailangan umaandar yung makina pero nakahinto ka para makita mo yung settings menu ng mid.. to select an item, press mo ng mga 2seconds yung info button..to navigate/scroll around, single press lang..madali makita yung menu to change the info from L/100km to km/l..

post ka sir ng fc mo ah para ma compare natin hehe..

2008 to last year, Ive been using unleaded, ok naman. Tapos last year till now, nag XCS nako..parang mas umokey, so nag stick nako tsaka kahit anong sasakyan pag shell ako nagkakarga parang hindi sing taas ng petron inaangat ng needle ko, kaya petron ako atw.

the question is for the MX 2013 which is 1.6 right? try to pay a visit sa mlph sir, they have lots of users na nito, makikita mo din common problems nung 1.6 variant (there have been mentioned on shocks lately).

same looks lang sya GLS vs MX, pinagkaiba lang yung manuall tranny and navi system yata. mas mataas base HP ng manual (10whp yata) at mas mataas ang HP limit just in case gusto mong i turbo. pero syempre you lose the comfort in city driving with a manual (and the paddle shift na pang porma lang).

since mukhang madami sakay mo sir baka mas bagay sayo matic (MX or GLS). pero personally, i want to go for M/T (yun lang si misis ayaw mag drive ng manual)

During my media test drive of the Lancer EX 1.6L MX a few months ago, we drove to Pico de Loro. The roads directly in and out of the area are really steep yet the Lancer handled it with no complaints. Note, each car had 4 people with overnight bags. Even though the Lancer's performance uphill is not stellar compared to it's 2.0L big brother, it is still able to accelerate with it's passenger load.

So if your concern is the roads from Manila to Tagaytay... those will be no problem.

I think worth it ang price difference from GLX M/T to MX.. 778T ang GLX M/T with discount while 898T i think ang MX with discount.
So that's 120k..

During my media test drive of the Lancer EX 1.6L MX a few months ago, we drove to Pico de Loro. The roads directly in and out of the area are really steep yet the Lancer handled it with no complaints. Note, each car had 4 people with overnight bags. sir GH, yun po bang DVD HU ng mx is ano pong brand at responsive po ba sya or parang yung mga china brands na nasabing touchscreen lang na mabagal?

regarding po dun sa hatak, I went to tagaytay po kasi last dec. 1 using a celerio with 5 passengers averaging 60kgs including me and dun po kami dumaan sa talisay road (if you are familiar) and sobra pong gapang ng celerio, literal na kelangan mo i-floor yung gas which scares me because of the weird sound, so kaya ko po natanung yung case kapag lancer.

a bit OT: bakit po kaya amoy sunog yung celerio ko? haven't experienced it with my other suvs? TIA
