Let's say it's "Dawn of the Dead" zombies where the zombies can run or dash quickly.

Choice of Vehicle:

Humvee with M249 SAW machine gun and Mk19 Grenade Launcher (Armored Version), or I can settle for the Mythbusters' black suburban with an M134D Gatling Gun mounted on top.

Choice of Weapon:

Primary - M4 assault rifle, 5.56 cal. with 30 rd. clips
Secondary (BUG) - Glock 21 .45 cal. with 2, 13-rd clips

Did not see the movie but I'd still take a M16/M4 type weapon.

you need something with the endurance of an AK-47, kittability, accuracy and ammo availability of a CAR body(M-16) and the comfort, silencer capability and control of an AUG

upon reading the book, it seems that owning an 0.22 airgun seems viable :S

the only problem is where to get the CO2 tanks and reloading

the book also recommends the AK derivatives over the CAR(M-16) family for the purpose of maintainability. only problem is where to get one.
