i once had a parent in a parent-teacher-student-principal meeting for a referral i made and asked the father of my student :who's the parent here?
the principal almost flipped and spoke with me when the father and son left the office. the principal in a way thanked me for having the balls to tell the annoying student and father off.
my example to all my friends is that of a tomato plant. if you know it is growing crooked, straighten it a little at a time while it is still sprouting. do not try to straighten a crookedly grown tomato plant, chances are it will break.
with all of life's failures and successes, we still need people who failed, these are the people we hire as drivers, maids, gardeners, janitors and yaya. not everybody can be successful. somebody has to do the menial jobs

Not "fail" in a sense. It's their choice eh. May mga tao talaga na contented na on where they are and what they do, but I think its unfair to say that they failed kaya hanggang dun lang sila.

Some blue collar workers are just working to have tuition money for college. Ultimately it all boils down to the aspirations on the individual. Lucio Tan was a janitor lang daw dati .. I dunno if the story I heard thru the grapevine is correct.

i have a 5 year old and a 2 year old both girls. my 5 year old washes her own dishes, pack her toys and fix her bed. when they're both old enough i'll teach them how to use a gun properly. also i plan to bring them to camping/hiking trips para di maging ma arte.

Yeah I noticed too that the outdoorsy type of people are very flexible. I have a friend like that, masarap kasama. Tipid pa like when she travels kahit saan pwede mag stay.

kids exposed to the outdoors and nature tend to be more mature, cautious with their actions, patient and respectful of others. the more exposure they have outside of the school and home, the more likely they will have a well rounded personality.

sino pa dito sa tsikot ang nakakaalan ng harangan taga, sipa, taguan, siato atbp.. eto ung mga laro namin nung bata pa ko at kahit saan nakakagala kami kasi mas ligtas ang panahon dati kesa ngayon.. kaya minsan mas gugustuhin ko pa na sa bahay lang ang anak ko para me peace of mind ako na safe sya.. di ko maisip na paglaruin ko ng taguan sa labas ang anak ko baka makidnapped..
