Once I watched a movie with someone behind me talking loudly on a cellphone oblivious to everyone around him. What an ass!

flashlight lang katapat ng maingay. shine the flashlight at them, and in a loud voice ask them to quiet down. you know, like "ano ba ang ingay nyo !*#$%! pwede ba sa labas na lang kayo magkwentuhan!" ehehehehehe! this gets the attention of the usher/usherete who then comes and shines their flashlight on them, problem solved.

yun lang nga may kurot ako kay misis sabay sermon, nakipagaway na naman daw ako eheheheh!

actually sa greenhills na lang kami nanunuod. mas mahal pero polite and well mannered mga tao. and the ushers are there always to remind people who might misbehave. and only really good movies. and only when almost everyone have seen it already, like the last day of the 2nd week, konti na lang tao.

pag hindi naman blockbuster talaga, we do as everyone else here do, wait for the dvd to come out.

We only watch at Shangri-la cinemas. It's a bit expensive at 175.00, but generally the movie-goers are well-mannered. What annoys me most are those who play w/ their laser pointers.

ang nakakatawa naming experience eh kumakain ng spagheti sa sine..akalain mo un??haha...tawa lang kami ng tawa..sa glorieta ata kami nun eh..usually kasi gb3 kami dahil accdg to my hun sulit naman dahil maganda audio (dolby or THX) daw talaga unlike sa glorieta na panget audio pero mahal..he knows the technical stuff..haha..powerplant cinema ok din..basta ako kasama sya ok na.. may mga sine na ok panuorin sa wide screen meron namang pang dvd pwede na..

one time nanood kami ng sine sa amerika, yung mga second run na movies. Alam niyo naman ang mga teenager na puti may mga attitude problem din yan. So since di na matiis nung tito ko ang kaingayan nila tumalikod siya at sabay sabi " Do guys mind? Were trying to watch a movie here" Minsan sindakan lang din yan, pero di ko pa nasusubukan dito yan.

Madalas ako nanonood sa Promenade or greenbelt 3 para medyo may konting manners naman ang manonood. Dibale na magbayad ng medyo malaki basta maenjoy ko ang aking pinapanood.

Mga cinemas na may bad rep na sa akin ay yung Gateway at SM cinemas. Gateway since kadalasan ng mga nanonood ay college students na magbabarkada.

hmm... with regards to my cinematic experience, medyo varied na din.

there was this one time I was a kid and my dad and I were watching this FPJ flick dati sa province. after the movie, binaril ng isang movie goer yung screen. I bet he didn't like the ending.

Starzan Movie sa SM City - nagkaroon ng stampede because somebody yelled fire (apparently to get some seats for himself) My Dad had to flatten me against the wall.

as for the food, dati chicken with rice (parang puto ko kinakain yung rice).. na-try ko na din magdala ng balut.

ang ayaw ko dati yung may magdadala ng Humpy Dumpy.. pagbukas pa lang, maaamoy mo na.. umaalingasaw sa buong area. ang sama ng amoy.

hate na hate ko den yung naninipa ng seats. AKo, I make it a point na nde ko magalaw yung seat in front of me. How come some people can't do that? Kung sakaling nde naman sinasadya the least one could do is apologize diba? Minsan nakakainis na manuod ng sine eh, you pay unreasonable prices at times and yet the movie experience sucks because of people like that. tsk.

ok lng naman di naman ako naiirita unless the adjacent, behind or at the back of me are irritatingly noisy

How about yung humihilik ng malakas?

Saka, magka-iba ang market ng cinema saka DVD Home theater. People who already have home theaters go to the cinema for the huge screen size and the audience participation (like yung sabay-sabay na nagugulat or sumisigaw... iba yung experience compared kung tatlo lang kayong nanonood sa bahay).

Minsan naka panood ako sa Mega.. last full show may nag suntukan pa hehehe may lasing na panay ang sipa sa harap nya at maingay ayon pinatulan ng nasa unahan umalis nalang ako baka madamay pa...tao nga naman (tao nga ba sila)

kami sa SM megamall dati may nagsuka sa likod namin buntis. medyo punuan noon at hirap makakuha ng upuan. sabi ko sa sarili titiisin ko na lang, pero grabe umalingasaw talaga yun amoy suka. yun tipong masusuka ka din.

buti na lang nakalipat kami sa kabilang side ng sinehan. then nakita ko one by one umaalis na yun mga dati namin katabi. di din siguro natagalan.

naiinis ako sa mga naghahalikan, naghihipuan, at kung ano-ano pa...kasi di nila ako iniimbita to join in.

actually, i'm investing $$ on a decent home theatre because of the aforementioned reasons; cellphones, babies, etc. wala na talagang common courtesy mga tao ngayon.

i agree...the whole reason i spent the time and money to build my HT system was to avoid these inconsiderate, stupid moviegoers. there are no drawbacks except that i have to wait a little while longer to view the latest blockbuster. i even have my own drawer stocked with different varieties of microwave popcorn

4. people who either don't pay attention or are stupid, and have to constantly ask their companion to explain the plot

Sa Gateway, sa EDSA Shangrila at sa Greenhills masarap manood ng movies. Mahal nga pero, gaya ng sabi ni Bossing Yebo, mas...polite at "well mannered" yung mga nanonood. Sa Rockwell din, oks.

or minsan... pupunta sa sine para mag kwentuhan! natatandaan ko one time, may isang gay and his boyfriend. the bf was pestering the gay to buy him this and that. sheesh.

reminds me of a true story. my wife and i went to see Saw a long time ago, and there were these two skinny teenagers who were more concerned with laughing and disrupting the experience for others. ilang beses pinakiusapan ng matino lalong nilalakasan yung pagtawa at pagsigaw nila.

finally this huge black dude (i swear to God this guy was as big as the Rock) had enough. he took his Big Gulp soda, dumped the whole thing on one a--hole's face, and threw the cup into the other a--hole's face. after a few seconds of tense silence, the two slunk out of the theater with their tails between their legs.

the entire theater gave the guy a 2-minute ovation :jump2:

Masyado akong high-blood sa mga ganyan.

I make it a point to watch at the first showing (around 11am?).
At that time, only 1/3 of the movie house is occupied.

Moviehouses that I absolutely HATE:

(1) ROCKWELL
(2) GLORIETTA


Moviehouses I like

(1) Podium
(2) Shangri-la
(3) SM Megamall (!!!!?????) --- Megamall marami pa ring jologs na maingay. But if you yell ask them to shut up (with a firm voice), they do shut up. Unlike in Rockwell and Glorietta... hindi jologs yung maingay... mga pesteng konyo. If you ask them to please keep quiet.. they ignore you and even say stuff like, "Hwelll, if you don't like the noise, hwwwhy don't you just hhleave the flace?"
