i'm talking about competition among women on IG

particularly about showing off things / social status signaling

Yung mga babaeng nag-iinggitan over material things tapos ipepressure yung benefactor, hindi naman representative ng lahat ng babae yun (and hindi lang ganung tipo ng babae ang nasa ig).

Yes women get envious of other women but generally, I'd say it's from:

1. Family life / love life - yung maayos na pamilya. Kaya nga may tinatawag na daddy issues diba. Also, lovelife /marrying a loyal man. Yan ang isa sa hilig iflex ng mga babae, their bf/husband and how nice they're being treated. Lets say the man in their life spend for them, pero kung mistreated naman, kabit, or sa pawalk galing mga yun I don't think other women will get envious. Women value a man's loyalty over material things.

Also, mahirap sa babae maging single, aside sa may emotional need nandiyan din pressure from society. Kaya yun, source ng insecurity and envy.

2. Beauty / attractiveness - when another woman is more attractive, competitition nila to get number 1. Also beautiful women get better treatment. Tapos some women takes a lot of effort to be beautiful pero may iba were just born with it.

i was only posting an observation re IG (ung pataasan ng ihi) which so prevalent it's impossible to miss

same thing with palakihan ng boobs, paliitan ng beywang, palakihan ng balakang... it's also impossible to miss

Sa number 1 ako agree. Napansin ko yan among my friends, even among my NICEST, don't say anything if you can't say anything nice friends, usually sa choice of partner may comment talaga.

May friend pala kami who went as much as lying about her husband to flex WTF! Years of lies. Medyo psycho ang dating hahaha

I don't mind being single, kung wala ako biological deadline I would not worry, pero meron e, and other people worrying about me, no joke, pati yun lady guard sa office namin gusto na ko mag asawa at anak haha!

re beauty and attractiveness, for some reason, I don't care about other women, basta ang inggit ko sa buhay are those who married their first love or the love of their life. MAJORITY ng friends (and Titas) ko admit to settling (ouch) tapos natutunan na lang nila mahalin. Kasi masakit sa ulo yung mas mahal mo siya keysa mas mahal ka niya. Kaya RARE talaga yung same level kayo ng pagka inlove which was what happened to crush and I kaya hirap ako ilet go, pero ngayon hindi na same level, so...
