April 29th, 2018 08:46 AM #19511you and i, and many others, know that.
but as ravenblack says, common sense is actually an uncommon sense.
understanding how your credit card makes money (at your expense!), is feigned rocket science to some folks.
...if the card enables them to get something that they otherwise wouldn't be able to acquire.... to hell with the scheduled payments!

April 29th, 2018 09:17 AM #19512credit cards dont make you settle for 2nd best. you get what you really want coz at times, mga 1 t o 1/2 month pa ang payment due.

April 29th, 2018 09:35 AM #19513I always pay before the due. No failure. No debt.
It's pointless paying your car by cc. I know you want to accumulate points. It's so much hassle because you're going to get declined regardless even if you have a sky high limit. You can't just walk in the dealership and swipe. You have to call them up and explain the hell you're trying to do. Lmao! You're just going to alert your cc's fraud department.
If you want to accumulate points, pay your company's purchases instead, like, booking a hotel online and paying for plane tickets.

Credit card was used to purchase for convenience ... bill was probably paid in full and not installment ... could've been cheaper to pay in cash ... or maybe there was no cash discount ... imagine how much points the owner earned from the purchase ... that's assuming cash and credit card prices were the same ...
