There's more garlic in a mechado sauce Master Brat, and it's somewhat sweeter than afritada or kaldereta. I also don't put much pepper or spiciness like kaldereta. My kids prefer it.

The thing is... why eat out when you can cook your own food at home? Diba? Unless sisig balak mong lutuin, mejo hassle sa bahay.
When we eat out, we seldom go to Filipino restaurants kasi we know how to make them at home.
And also, only OFWs know the feeling. If you never left the PH for an extended period of time, you will never understand.

hindi ko na maalala ilan years na ako walang kain ng adobo, kaldereta...etc.
Last ko lechon pero yung balat lang. Naduduwal ako pag yung taba hindi roasted pag ka luto.
Naaawa ako sa pinoy food pag lumalabas. Kinakain ng buhay ng chinese and korean.

Tama si sir Blancnoir, we cook it sa bahay unless sisig or lechon yan, but most pinoy food we try to cook sa bahay less msg pa. Have a safe trip back home also sir.
We tried new year in Shanghai once and that's the last hehehe, sobrang boring, iba pa talaga sa pinas pag holiday, sobrang saya.
