The example he gave sounds like Cathy's 50 yr old psycho friend hehe.

hahaha! I LOLd when you said something like his life is your version of hell I guess it's good that he has not married, otherwise his Dad will have more mouths to feed. Whenever I think of him, I feel so responsible, at least I have a job and pay for some of my bills.

But to 51 yr old friend's defense, he manages their home and tries to earn a living with his "businesses" that his Dad funds. My ex is either at home or travelling with his parents. That's it. He has no intention to work talaga (and they are not even rich) I fear for him when his parents pass.

My life is full of regrets

BTT: Last night, going home, it was a little traffic. Merging yung lane (dapat zipper) so I let an Innova pass me, when it was my turn the Gen 1 CRV behind the Innova, was making me gitgit aggressively, nakanguso na ko, so I am sure na ako mananalo sa gitgitan. I opened my window because I wanted to get a good look at the driver bago ko siya unahan and then I saw that it was a short woman with walis tingting hair and a side profile like Zorayda And then I thought, babae, baka mabangga pa ko, at since luma kotse niya, ako lugi. So I just let her pass. I figured it's enough punishment that she has to live with that face of hers, baka kaya angsty kasi pangit

I think I really matured na. If this happened in my teens, I would not care if I wrecked my car, hindi ako papatalo sa gitgitan. Also, these dashcams and camera phones made me VERY VERY conscious of my actions. My worst nightmare is for myself to be uploaded on the internet.

And now I'm questioning if I should even get a next car, as doing so would delay my savings for a house. I haven't even factored in the savings necessary to have kids yet. And after all that, I still have to consider the savings to build initial capital for a business! [emoji24]

Plot the two loans side by side taking into account the yearly and total interest. If you can live with the interest while using the cash for something else more important, then go for it.

Also, build a relationship with a banker. They can give you preferential rates and non-standard loans, i.e. 7 yrs which may be better suited for your needs among other things.

Dude...remember what i said. Pain now is gain later. While you are young....bite the bullet. Your salary will inevitably increase so might as well take the loan now. 5 yrs is a short time. In a blink of an eye you will be on your 2nd property.

Kayod now is better than kayod later.

10 year term since you are still young then lump sum payments when able. I did 10 on mine and settled it on the 7th.

Utang ang nimbento ni nature, para lagi tayo gumagalaw to realize our potentials and for the circle of life the move, you know, like a cycle

Yes bro. I plotted out my planned spending for the next 10 years and my projected income (incl. salary increases). Added my fiance's projected income as well (pitiful for the next 6 years hehe).

Decided on a 10 year loan to free up some space to enjoy my life while I'm still young. Though surprisingly everything just fits exactly to a tee - I thought I was gonna have a bit of a surplus. I guess I have to work extra hard and have a fair bit of luck to have a more comfortable life. [emoji4]

Mukhang ganun na nga bro. I just have to stay healthy in my 30s to 50s to still have the energy and time to enjoy life instead of just grinding it out and not reaping the fruits of my labor.

    Pwede ring 90s.

But really, it's because I wanna enjoy the world while I'm young. I don't want to be 50 when I buy my first sports car, I don't want to wait until I'm a senior citizen with many aches in my body before I travel the world and see the great outdoors. But at the same time, I don't want to be YOLO like many my age who have not prepared for the future.

It's a lot to ask and it's a big balancing act. I have to work hard to fund my dreams, but I also can't be too much of a workaholic or my youth will pass me by.

Bro, it also pays to have a side hustle that you enjoy. Takes care of some of the bills and it doesn't feel like work if you enjoy doing it.
