The Spanish brought Philippine mango saplings to Mexico. I'm sure they also brought Filipinos over to supplement the local Native American labor.
As far as I'm concerned, Manila and champagne mangoes taste just like Philippine mangoes. Manila is simply a term Mexicans use for Philippine mangoes.
It makes sense to me. Parts of Mexico have the same tropical climate as the Philippines.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; August 15th, 2016 at 11:14 AM.

Why are people so addicted to travelling abroad? I even have relatives and friends who are abroad more than they are at home
Also, it seems like it is acceptable to spend money on travel but not on material objects. I am just glad I am not addicted to travel, otherwise I would be so broke right now. Basta rule ko, if it's not free, I am not goingIt's a very expensive "bisyo"
