Agree with EQ. Being born and raised in Cebu, the beach is only a few kms from the house. There is something soothing and relaxing about the beach especially when you are witnessing the sunrise. Noontime is too hot but that is when the beer and cocktails come in handy. When alcohol takes effect, you close your eyes drifting to sleep with the sound of the waves hitting the shore and you wake up in time to watch the sun setting low and the smell of prawns and liempo roasting next to you. Heavenly!

Itong part ng previous post mo kasi cathy. Kaya nila siguro nasabi yun.
Maski nung bata ako, ang na enjoy ko lang sa beach eh dahil kasama mga pinsan ko and/or family friends. Though agree ako kay bro eq and dream na ok yun salt water sa katawan (i have minor a skin condition), irita talaga ako pagdating sa ahunan.

Yes. I like the pool better. I don't know why but I'm scared of large bodies of water. You don't know what's underneath kasi.

You don't have to swim naman. Most beach resorts have pools, for those who do not want to swim in saltwater.
The attraction of the beach is much more than being able swim in it. There's the atmosphere, the sense of solitude, being away from the hustle and bustle, and being able to focus on ang bond with your companions. It offers different things to different people, I think, which is what makes it a popular getaway place.
What is not to like in a beach? Cool refreshing breeze. Contemplating life at the end of the day. Warm fine sand under your feet. Sights....

Amen to this!!! I love the beach too! It's an escape from the stress of city life that satisfies your senses... the sight of the horizon (or bodies.hehe), the sound of the waves/birds, the feel of the fine sand and clean water, and the smell of fresh nature air in 1 place.![]()
I think the better argument here is that other people might prefer different things... and just like our taste/decision for cars, let's just see the positive and respect one another rather than bashing what we don't personally like or do. ;-)
I love taking a nap by the beach with the sea breeze and the sound of the waves pounding on the rocks.
That's the only reason why I wanted to go to the beach. I saw a video of a lab running to the beach and he looked so happy. I want my lab to experience that but I'm afraid my fat lab will swim too far and my other consideration is the stress of the travel. She can only ride the car around the city, and she gets restless na.
This video. So much happiness!
Maganda sa beach lalo na pag wala gaano tao tapos makakatulog ka sa buhanginan.
Pero ang tatalo sa beach eh waterfalls with batis. Dito talaga ako nag-eenjoy. Pag ahon you dont need to banlaw kasi fresh water with minerals. Wala alat na amoy.
And maganda sa waterfalls eh need pa dayuhin by foot or angkas sa habal-habal. So malaki chance na solo mo or konti lang tao.
i am thinking about "low maintenance."
just how much or how little money does one regularly spend monthly, to be considered "low maintenance" or "high maintenance" ?
does such a definitional amount exist?
i guess this sums it up
Pero the best experience ko na may body of water involved iyong canyoneering sa kawasan in badian, cebu. [emoji106] there's nothing like it talaga

For me, it's not only about the money. What defines "high maintenance" for me is one that requires a greater-than-acceptable amount of time, effort, and money. I think everyone's threshold for each factor is different. Depende na lang talaga if mapasensya/mapagbigay ka hehehe.
i mean, when does low maintenance end, and scrooge begin?
when does generous end, and high maintenance begin?
when one has lotsa time, one's thoughts meander...
