The reason being I think is that they're are wearing heels or whatever the whole day and it's really hard to run after PUV when commuting

    Move around the stage.

    Employ effective hand gestures.

    Vary your voice.

    Don't cower behind the podium.

Don't concentrate your gaze on one area of the audience only.

Know the subject matter and the presentation by heart. Rehearse if you can. I usually have a copy of my presentation. But, I can wing it if needed because I know the subject matter. Plus, I've done it so many times in the past.

At the start, give a list of what you will brief. Towards the end, do a recap of what you just briefed before the questions.

Thinking of washing my car pero umaambon na (roofless garage). I just wanna get rid of the mud stains na naipon pa since Sunday morning. Just wash and no dry. My neighbors will probably think I'm weird.

Watching the local news...... Students and alumni from the U of Arizona, including those from other countries, have won a total of 73 Olympic medals (35G, 24S, 14B). Interesting.

Arizona and the Olympics - ArizonaWildcats.com | University of Arizona Athletics

If the U of A was a country of its own, it would rank 39th (or was that 34th?) in the all-time medal tally.

I came in just in time so I was not able to buy pizza It went well, sobrang participation ng audience, kinulang kami sa oras

Now my problem is the VPs from other departments are pushing back/refusing the mandate from my boss in HQ. I am just a staff so how can I argue with VPs/heads. My boss is in HQ and I am the only representative here. I have no supervisor or team here in Manila. Now I am kinda pissed that my expat assignment did not push through this year. The boss of my boss promised me a promotion (I think as consolation for the expat assignment issues) but MANILA is giving him a hard time doing that! I am now doing management tasks at staff salary.

I really hate how there is too much red tape in Manila, even in private multibational firms!

How do I deliver a 3 slide presentation to the region heads I need to get their buy in that the additional task we are giving their people will be good for their department.

Conference of region heads to maybe include remote video participation? That or email/instant messaging. Add also collaboration apps. I collaborated with some folks (different parts of the US) on Powerpoint slides, making real-time changes and real-time voice conversation.

My issue is the content of the presentation. I am 90% sure that my boss in HQ will not participate in the meeting because he hates to interact with other regions especially Manila. So I am their face off here.

You still need to know all the reasoning in your boss' mind so you don't just parrot what's on the slides. I would anticipate the questions that may be asked and see how your boss answers them.

Of course, I'm in the weather career field. So, there may be differences in how we do things.

Melvin of True Faith doesn't seem to age. I just watched him in Eat Bulaga and I think his voice is even better now.

    He is really small though

They're the guys from Severina... A couple of really good looking engineering-college batchmates would have been members of True Faith.. They used to sing at Shakey's in BF.... when somebody from the crowd would request them to sing "Karma Chameleon..."..
