Baka negative for infection based on CBC results?

"Systemic Viral Illness". Flu yun diba? May flu pala na tumatagal ng 1 week? I still have fever until now.

I've been crying a lot kasi nakaka drain at nakaka panghina to have fever for 5 days now (it started Sunday night and it's Thursday night now)

Hmm, a few years back, i did have a severe case of "flu", it lasted 1-2 weeks din. Fever, nanghihina, throwing up. Nung nagpacheck up ako, they just have me antibiotics, nadale siguro yung bacteria/virus so i eventually got better. i never did find out kung ano tumama sa akin, but at the time there was this "superbug" going around.


Not a doctor btw; to be sure, please get a second opinion.

Oh no My friend said she had flu for 2 weeks. Wala na kong sick leave left Were you absent for the whole duration? The doctor said at least 2 days rest so if I'm not better by Sunday I will go to Makati Med.

Yung fever ko hindi bumababa even if I take biogesic. Masakit din buong katawan ko. Nakakapagod lagnatin for that long

The doctor listened to my lungs (deep breath) wala naman daw. I said masakit throat ko and he made me do the aahhhh pero di ako binigyan antibiotics

Inquire ka sa HR nyo about SSS sickness benefit. It's supposed to be used kapag wala nang SL (parang daily allowance). But I'm not sure if you need to be hospitalized para eligible to use it.

good to hear that hindi dengue. pero kailangan mo talaga ang bed rest dyan cat, lots of fluids also.
parang second hit mo na iyan ng flu diba?

Yes Di ko nga alam bakit ang hina ng resistensya ko ngayon But this is the worst/longest in my entire life. Hinang hina na talaga ako.

Dunno if it's just placebo effect; pag me flu ako i take berroca, conzace, etc., lots of vitamin C.

supplements, yes that would help. flu doesn't need serious medications naman unless may complications like upper/lower respiratory tract infection.
they give paracetamol/analgesic lang most of the time.

they probably thought it's a virus.
they can prescribe antibiotics, but it'll only impoverish you a little, and you still won't feel better.

Thanks everyone for your concern. I'm here at St Luke's. They took my blood (dengue test) and urinalysis. 1 to 2 hrs for the result I'm a little disappointed because I waited so long at the ER Pano pala kung dying na. My BP is high also (which really surprised me)
