How do you catch them bro?

By the tail? Or through a rapid hand/arm movement (catching the whole thing in your palm)?...

We used to have a gruesome manner of playing with them...

Must be a better balance in our environment(symbiosis) nowadays, bro.... Or, they are being pushed further inside the villages because of the depletion of rice fields in the metro....

2 species of bato bato, the zebra pigeon and the ring necked pigeon. lumalapit pa nga sa mga bata. and good that kids don't shoo them away.
other kinds of birds hanging around in the school grounds: the playful "pied fantail" at yung bastos na pangalang "yellow vented bulbul". bulbul kasi they make a sound similar to it.

    * CVT ... anong Quail? Yung pugo? Masarap gawin adobo yan, with lots of pepper and garlic, tapos fried rice at malamig na Coke!

^ Oo, msarap nga pugo. We used to make trap as well for these animals.

During my child hood, slowly but surely ang buntot, rapid palm movement pag paramihan ng huli.
