We had a field trip dati sa Magnolia factory dyan sa may Aurora Blvd. We were'nt paying attention that much on how ice cream was made, kasi we were busy fixing ourselves dahil after the plant tour, we will visit Maryknoll. Grabe, in demand kaagad ang tatlo (3) 25 cent coins, para sa phone booths. Lahat yata na phone booth ng LSGH and Shoppesville, occupied namin ..

That old Magnolia house also brings back a lot of childhood memories indeed.

Another thing back in the 80s, i remember pwede pa yung mga RHD vehicles sa local roads. They only banned this after a spate of accidents involving RHD trucks.

And it looks like the Ortigas CBD is not yet existing ... wala pa halos tall buildings. I remember me and my classmates walking from LSGH to that corner in EDSA, and riding a bus to SM City (SM North?)

Recently, i also learned that one of our senior officers here at work had a brother who's included in the ill-fated World Jamboree contingent back in the 1960s (so his kuya has street named after him in QC).

The photo should have been taken maybe circa 1992 or 1993 (note ADB Spec Pajero at the background. That was the favorite of ADB diplomats in the early to mid 1990s).
