...hindi ako nagtanong sa nanay ko at tatay ko...just found betamax **** na nakatago sa masters' bedroom...inakala kong G-rated cartoons yun (it was labeled "Deep Inside Ginger Lynn") so pinanood ko...aba laking gulat ko hindi cartoons!!!...i was grade 6 then...yun, dun ko natutunan lahat...pero...mas gugustuhin kong ganun na lang ang nangyari...parang ang awkward kasi kapag ikaw ang magaapproach sa parents...so mas maganda cguro kung yung parents ang mag initiate. malalaman naman ng parents yun kung kelan ang tamang time...

BWAHAHAHAHAAAAA.... ...I don't think I'd mind... always been curious... (oh my fafa!)

If I do have a little boy, I don't know if I'd bring him to the "red light district"... not safe, IMHO (oh, you guys can still go... adults naman kayo, eh... hehe)... but I'd make sure he knew about them, about the dangers, the costs, and the possible discounts if he mentions a choice uncle or grand-uncle's name...

Ako naman Grade 4, when I saw an animated documentary titled "Where Did I Come From?". Betamax pa yun, hiniram namin sa St. Paul Library sa Makati. Akala ko kung anong cartoons yung laman.

Talagang detalyado ang explanation, from puberty to ***ual activity, conception, childbirth, pati breastfeeding. Kaming dalawa ng sister ko yung nanood, ewan ko kung napanood din ng parents ko. But I bet they wouldn't mind, the whole presentation was tasteful and educational kahit animated. It was really produced with kids in mind. Sayang, they don't make material like that nowadays.

I can still remember their faces when they narrated those words.

the lighter side of ***....the good, the bad, the ugly

Good : You give the "birds and bees" talk to your daughter.
    Bad : She keeps interrupting.
    Ugly : With corrections.

Good : Your son is dating someone new.
    Bad : It's another man.
Ugly : He's your best friend.

Good : Your daughter got a new job.
    Bad : As a hoooker.
Ugly : Your co-workers are her best clients.
Way ugly : She makes more money than you do.

    :bwahaha:

At what age do you talk to kids about the "birds and the bees"?
