While Lake Mead near Las Vegas still looks like it's on life support, Lake Tahoe near Carson City is full to capacity.

Sobrang dilim at sobrang lakas ng ulan dito sa BGC.

Malakas ba ang ulan sa QC?

May pasok ang mga eskwelahan diyan....... Sana mahina lang ang ulan diyan....

MANILA -- Netizens took to social media to air their complaints on the official announcement that classes are not suspended in Quezon City, Thursday.
At about 4:20 AM, Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte announced in a lengthy Facebook post that the local government decided not to suspend classes in the city.
The vice mayor also said parents can exercise their prerogative to keep their kids at home.
In an interview with DZMM, the vice mayor asserted that the local government will not suspend classes based on "bandwagon effect."
"I expect we will be bashed to death later by the public, simply because one cannot please everyone. Earlier Myke (DRRMO's Michael Marasigan) asked me if we should just be politicians - declare no classes like everybody else - then go to bed and sleep soundly. But later we decided that even if we risk our careers, we need to, in good faith, try to do the right thing," she said in her post.
Negative comments then started to arise after the announcement.

i would have prefered a "no classes tomorrow", rather than wait endlessly "for developments".

    as an aside.
our flood control projects have been going on forever. yet we are still regularly flooded.

perhaps it might be because, the weather bureau may be giving regular updates. but the lingo is so scientific, as to be confusing to the laymen.
perhaps if they word their reports into something more useful... "uulan nang malakas at matagal mamaya. mag-babaha..."

i just heard the weatherman's report over the radio.
he tried to make it more pedestrian.
i am a bit of a scientist myself, but i must admit, his report does not seem to come down to street level.
