It was the most comforting sound I've heard in a while. In the grand scheme of things, we need more rain like that.

There were a few puddles on my way to work but nothing any vehicle can't handle. Free underwash. lol

i was caught in very heavy traffic, generated by that heavy rain, even as it rained only lightly where i lived.
it took an extra 30 minutes, from my usual 30 minutes' drive to the workplace.

Dito sa amin every morning when I check the weather app, it says occasional thunderstorms, pero palaging maaraw. May occasional cloudiness but that's it

Almost zero visibility kanina at slex around 12 pm. I was on my way to Tagaytay and it poured just after Filinvest exit. My Mom told me to turn around e I don't know where since we already passed Filinvest. Good thing it stopped raining naman when I exited Calax.

    bilibit or not,
i once experienced hail in that area.
sandali lang naman, and they were just a few mm in size.

    another time,
the downpour was so heavy, vehicles were forced to slow down, some put their wipers to fast speed, and put on their headlights.
a few turned their hazard lights on. they confused some of us, in my opinion, because we could not deduce in what direction their cars were going.

I was starting to panic na nga kasi I was afraid that slex will start to flood . I know north bound alaska area floods really bad, not sure about south bound. Some cars stopped at Shell and yes some turned on their hazard lights. I just turned on my park lights kasi halos zero visibility nga then after a few kilometers pa hina na ng hina. Normally my Mom malakas loob but that time she was telling me to turn around hahaha. Katakot pa kidlat. When we got to Tagaytay mainit na [emoji15]

    some years ago,
the weatherman listed down several events that truly mark the start of our rainy season.
he mentioned xx days of regular rain...
i can't find it just now.

A start of five-day period ( in April, May, June or July) with total
rainfall of 25 millimetres or more, with three consecutive days
having at least 1 millimeter of rainfall per day.

This month is by far the highest bill I will pay for Meralco. Although it is not the highest in kw consumption but at 12.62/kw hour then it is the highest in kesos. Kaya I wonder why they said in the news yesterday to expect a price increase this month in electric bill to 11.++ kesos. Last month was already 12.50.
