    Walang hangin o ulan ngayon. Weird dahil malakas ang hangin kanina na may halong ulan kaninang 3PM - 5PM.

    There's the NDRRMC text blasts that are simply SMSes and gets saved in your SMS inbox. Then there is the other one, the Emergency Alerts I think that makes your phone sound like a klaxon. Those alerts are not saved.

    Even DZMM is now only streamed via Teleradyo, cable via ANC or via YT. Ang alam ko lang na may localized channel pa eh GMA, but some of those local stations got downsized a few years ago too; DZRH re-transmitted via some FM stations but they have few reporters outside Metro Manila; Bombo Radyo, Radio Veritas and Radyo Pilipinas (radio stations of PTV).

    Weird. I messaged our caretakers sa house namin both located in the south (70 km and 100 km from Manila) One said wala ng kuryente since 1 pm and the rain is scary strong. The other hasn't replied

    It is on top of Batangas now, just at the lower tip of Laguna Lake and above Taal Lake. It looks like the stronger parts of the storm will be traversing Batangas then Cavite, It will then go over Manila Bay then do another landfall in Bataan.




    This typhoon still packs a wallop. What you're feeling now in Manila (as of 7pm today) will not be reflective of how strong the gusts will be in a couple of hours. Hope everyone has completed their preparations.
