1. i dont think pagasa is accurate at all, since before they always overlook or over kill...
2. the forecast is for typhoon storm signals, number 1,2,3 and so on, this refers to the wind not the rain...
3. the rain could be forecasted with by viewing the dark clouds formation, as per satellite broadcast let the heavy clouds be your guide...
4. channel 2's kim atienza may be doing a better job in these weather forecasting...
5. pagasa warn that peping might be stronger, stronger with the wind or rain?...as of press time not much is seen in manila, they just over kill it because of ondoy...
6. pag maaraw walang pasok pag maulan me pasok...

I wonder when will storm pepeng directly hit PH. I'm quite nervous about it since cathy said 240kph na daw. More wind and rain.

Today, nagpatikim na.... hard rain + strong wind for like 30 mins.

mahinang ulan palang dito sa valenzuela city. kung magkakatotoo ang forecast nila, sana nga hindi na mag landfall ang bagyo na yan. pero tama sinabi ni cutedoc, ano ba ang dala ng bagyo na yan? baka nga malakas siya, pero puro hangin lang ang dala. eh kung si ondoy nga na mere tropical storm with winds of 85kph, sobrang delubyo dinala sa atin, at tinalo pa si milenyo. in fact, milenyo was nothing compared with ondoy, the small but terrible tropical cyclone...

Kahit na hangin lang yung Pepeng, kung malakas o mas malakas yan may Milenyo malaki pa rin na perwisyo. 2 days kami walang kuryente dahil sa Milenyo. marami rin bahay ang nasira kasi nabagsakan ng mga puno.

tama ka cathy. pero like i said, comparing milenyo and ondyo head to head, mas malakas talaga si milenyo, in terms of wind gustiness lang. pero ang level of damage, eh di hamak naman mas grabe ang ginawa ni ondoy. record breaking nga ang *#$! na bagyo na yun di ba?

well, here comes pepeng... that *#$! may or may not get a landfall based sa mga forecast na ginagawa ng different weather agencies. but who knows... weather changes everytime. lets just brace ourselves for the next one.

CNN says it will hit on Friday evening while PAGASA says Saturday afternoon.

i doubt that pagasa would be willing to change their tried and tested way of weather prediction which is by spinning a roleta
