Halatang halata naman talagang pinipigilan nilang matuloy yung amendment complaints. Well, I just see double standards regarding the walkout. When the senators walked out during Erap's impeachment proceedings, eh okay lang pero yung nangyari kahapon eh sinasabing hindi maganda ginawa nila? Tsk tsk tsk

the opposition walking out (theatrics, drama, incompetence, throwing in the towel, whatever you want to call it) does not change the following facts and premises:

    1. a GMA ALLY submitted a weak complaint
    2. GMA wanted that weak complaint filed (most probably to bar further, more credible impeachment complaints)
    3. GMA herself is arm-twisting, probably even bribing congressmen
    4. GMA declared a government holiday in suspicious circumstances
    5. GMA declared many times that she looked forward to an impeachment and will answer to a proper forum... yet she does all these things

c'mon people, don't see the trees but not the forest. don't see the bumbling opposition (can't blame you though) but not the scheming administration. don't seek stability and order but not the truth behind the allegations. don't see the opposition politicians neglecting their duties in their haste to oust the president but not the administration politicians (not the least, GMA) neglecting their duties in their haste to cover-up and "survive".

all i'm saying is, don't just look at the opposition. look at the administration too. finding out the truth is not the function of the opposition only, but of the citizenry.

She will not go down. Her motto: "What are we in power for?"

I'm sorry but I can't seem to comprehend "Sino ang ipapalit?" Who will replace her is not the point.

yun nga exactly yung issue e (for me at least): yung lozano complaint. strategy ni GMA yan to invoke a technicality. strategy, manipulation, ploy, maneuvering, cover-up.

who will they follow? someone that deserves to be followed in the first place. why should I follow a "fake, scheming" president (and she doesn't seem to be interested in refuting those adjectives, even in "the proper forum")? it doesn't seem to me that people are "following" GMA now.

manipulation of impeachment by the president . . . .

lahat ay nandaya sa election . . .

sakit ng pilipino ay everybody is jumping to conclusions, being predjudice, making up theories of what is not yet fact.

"A lie repeated a thousand times becomes the truth"

    my 2 cents lang

well .. kung sa boxing eh .. gma has this round .. obviously the bright boys of the opposition were caught with their pants down .. or perhaps .. they're just not that bright .. that's probably what disgusts me with the opposition .. it's bad enough na trapo yung mga nasa admin .. pero the fact that the opposition is not really the "opposition" but really just factions of selfserving ninnies just trying to make a name for themselves hoping to get some media mileage enough for the next election .. i actually hope they can muster 79 signatures .. let's see how the ejercitos in the senate try to debate this against lapid and revilla .. sobrang laughtrip siguro ..

    Yup.

People are talking like they were besides GMA when she made that phone call to Garcillano. Giving it twists & turns that might or might not exist.

Some sample of everyday "lies" that were repeated a thousand times and became the truth:

    > God banishes Adam & Eve for eating from the Tree of Knowledge - this is the common "truth", but if you read the scriptures they were banished because they *might* eat the Fruit of Life (which gives eternal life) after eating the first fruit.

    > Aguinaldo executed Bonifacio because of political rivalry. Nope, Bonifacio was executed for treason by setting up his own revolutionary government after the Aguinaldo was elected.

so, pray tell, where will the truth come from then? perhaps let's all wait for GMA (and all the politicos who cheat/cheated) to publicly declare the "truth" then? hintayin natin bumalik si Garci. sila lang naman nakakaalam e.

mag khaos na tayong lahat sa mga sasakyan natin. sinabi na ni planas yung katotohanan. wala naman tayo dun sa tabi niya nung inimbento niya yung KSTC diba? sino ba sa atin nakasubok nito sa makina niya? all the arguments against Khaos are nothing more than hearsay. kahit gano pa ka well-reasoned yung mga argumento, hearsay pa rin! no matter how much you use your brains to add 1 and 1, hearsay pa rin!

    hehe.
