Duly noted sir
i caught Kris' show earlier today. For all her faults, she does have a knack for getting big companies to donate.
Y'know, i was wondering why it took a while before we heard something from Kris. With Ondoy, she was already on TV the day after, literally naming one company after another, asking if they could donate. i think this time around she met with them privately, para di naman sila mapahiya on live TV. Unfair din kasi if you put them on the spot, it puts them in a bad light even when they have, or had planned to help out.
Ang hirap nga sagutin yan: what comes first, your job or your family? i don't think we can fault anyone for whatever their choice is, but it's really clear that they need people with local knowledge to coordinate efforts. People coming from other countries, or even from nearby provinces, don't know one street from another in the affected areas, what more when everything is flattened? The LGU's are decimated in the area...how can they report to work? That's why outside resources are needed and are now flowing into the area.
