A coup is not a legal issue, it is a moral one as far as the coup plotters are concerned. As far as the incumbent government whether overthrown or not it is a legal issue, thus a coup is always illegal. The recent coup in Thailand is a wait and see affair now, the United States wants a quick return to civilian rule and strict adherence to democratic ways and principles, the military leadership gave a self-imposed deadline of two weeks afterwhich they will resign from the council they created and revert to civilian supremacy over the military. These are just words ... so its a wait and see thing.
The issue that concerns us will come to fore if the Thai military will honor and keep their word and thus prove to the world their nobility, integrity and sense of patriotism , these are core values that any soldier in the world would live and die for. It might serve as a model and precedent to our own military especially those who up to now have maintained and preserved these core values.
unfortunately, you cant... you have to buy your own from the money you got selling the shares after a year of holding it... haha... kidding...
Gloat I will, but only with the Thais.Everyone else in the region couldn't compete with em in the dirty, rotten subterfuge department. Just look at how sneaky this coup was.
Some jobs were lost to Indonesia, too. But those were lost only because the Philippines really couldn't compete. They didn't have to resort to the s**t the Thais did.
