TAAL VOLCANO BULLETIN 8 March 2 21 8: A.M.
Taal's calming trend continues.
Today is the first single digit record for both volcanic earthquakes and tremor episodes since 3 March.
Hopefully it calms down, but then again it seems to pull off surprises.
I was up in Tagaytay Sunday & passed through Ligaya dr. to Talisay for a meal. Taal looked peaceful & no fumes spewing from it’s crater. Talisay looked really clean & normal, like it’s pre eruption self.
I guess the LGUs have to fend for themselves for now, as priorities shifted to a more pressing, sinister matter. The Congressmen meanwhile, have the funds at their disposal & I can’t comprehend what goes through their brains why they do not take it upon themselves to use these to fund these rehab efforts.

Taal loves playing "bulaga", that's why it pays not to be complacent at this point.
Let's look back at 12 January 2020 when Taal erupted.
How fast did it move from Alert Level 2 to Alert Level 4?
Here it is:
8:00AM - 12 January 2020 - Alert Level 1
2:30PM - 12 January 2020 - Alert Level 1 to Alert Level 2
4:00PM - 12 January 2020 - Alert Level 2 to Alert Level 3 (magmatic unrest)
7:30PM - 12 January 2020 - Alert Level 3 to Alert Level 4 (hazardous eruption eminent)
And we all know what happened on 12 January.
All in a matter of hours.![]()
Waiting for the afternoon bulletin of Phivolcs .......![]()
Sana wala at matulad lang ang Taal ng iba na hanggang AL 2 lang
And there were some numbnuts who actually went to the crater and posted on FB live. Good their punishment wasn't them being offered to the volcano.

So far, Phivolcs has not issued any further bulletins on Taal today: Taal Volcano
At least some measure of good news, hopefully.
Abangan na naman bukas![]()
