Honestly, PHIVOLCS doesn't really care about maintaining "credibility" among the masses. They report what the instrumentation and what the science shows, period, full stop.

walang naghihintay sa PHILVOLCS, walang political pressure on PHILVOLCS

ang problema highly populated ang area... thousands of families are affected

thousands and thousands of people waiting for PHILVOLCS to let them go back home

    yan ang problema

Hinde ba pwede mag fire na lang missile dun para sumabog na

wala ba Art ang nature? For example, the Art of Volcanology ,

Noon una panahon, tribes would dress up to their best outfits whenever they gonna make a sacrifice sa volcano, chieftains would wear their biggest feather crown, and jewelries , there will be merry making and loud drums and food, as if festive sila na festive sila

Volcano aka Vulcan is a God d’ba? Though a lesser God, not the level of the Olympians like Zeus, and Athena and Ares. Ano sya eh sword maker God ba?

Maybe we should allow these people in the evacuations center, to conduct offerings to the mountain, mga livestock nila, ani ganun.

OB kahit saan sa mundo, bumabalik at bumabalik ang mga tao sa mga bulkan

kasi nga ung period between eruptions dekada ang binibilang

yun nga mga nakatira sa tabing ilog kahit taon taon tinatangay ng baha ang bahay nila magtatayo uli sila ng bahay sa parehong lugar

yun pa minsan sumabog ang bulkan

tingnan mo itong Mt. Vesuvius gaano kadami nakatira doon

The Marcos administration started several months after the eruption. There was rapid borrowing by the government to fund massive infrastructure projects (sound familiar?) up until we couldn't pay these back properly, causing a balance-of-payments crisis with the International Monetary Fund.

By the year 1970, our economy was already in shambles.
