I wanna live in Forbes too but I don't think there is any chance of that happening in my lifetime. You could always move in with your parents, 2000 sq m should be enough for 2 families
If I were to choose between North or South, it's South for me. Less traffic talaga. I don't experience traffic when I go home South while my friends from the North deal with heavy traffic daily.

But you're living in Makati, Cathy. You don't need to traverse SLEX or Cavitex do you, heheh
Cath goes to Sta. Rosa regularly. But travel from Makati to Sta. Rosa is easy.
Eh pano kung taga-Alabang ka tapos anak mo nagaaral sa Ateneo/UP. Lahat ng kaibigan kong ganun, sinusumpa ang byahe.
also applicable with UST if you are living down south.... Only DLSU is reasonable.... I remember commuting back then from Alabang to UST daily. Wala pang traffic nun ha? Takes me around 1.5 hours one way. Eh ngayon pa kaya.
Agree on the dorm though.
Invest ka lang sa studio type na condo, tapos pag naka graduate na yung anak mo, he can either live there or have it rented.

For those planning to settle in the south, dapat iconsider din yung additional cost of having your kids live elsewhere for college. You save on gas and toll but spend on rental and food.
I see. I was under the impression that she just stays in one of the gated villages around Makati CBD.
^I've never considered the east simply because there are just too few roads getting in and out. If barado ang Marcos and Ortigas (like Ondoy), wala nang uwian. Grabe pa magtraffic diyan on top of EDSA and C5 traffic.
My friends who live there wake up at 4-5am to get to the office at 9. I wake up at 7:30 and still get to the office by 9. That's an additional 3 hours of sleep every single day. Plus another 2 hours when going home.
My personal opinion is that I'd prefer to have a small house in an accessible location, kasi aanhin ko yung bahay kong malaki sa malayo kung mas madalas akong nasa daan dahil sa traffic. But of course, to each his own.![]()

East is tough in terms of traffic unless you are talking about Taguig![]()
Nakakatempt kumuha sa east area ng bahay. Mura kasi and malinis mga subdivisions. I would love to live in antipolo.
Kaso konting ulan lang nagiging parking lot na ang ortigas extension.
I did a scout in the area. ok naman ibang lugar 70m above sea level compared sa mayamot/masinag na 13m above sea level. with huge freezers and good stock and maybe a herb garden ok yun lugar. not yet confirmed water supply though.
