the rotating blackout took a toll on my Panasonic split type A/C's capacitor, the A/C stop working last night and fortunately the service center is available this morning and they attributed the busted capacitor to the fluctuating/rotating electricity.

slept last night in the guess room, buti na lang bago A/C doon.

the maintenance guy told me that I just need to turn off the breaker of the split type every morning when I leave the house and just turn it on when I arrive home.

You might as well wire in a power-on delay device on your split-type AC. It would save you the repeated effort of switching on/off the AC at the breaker box.

I'm much interested with that device. Can you give me a good power-on delay device?

They can be found in hardware or diy stores. Typically sold for either aircon or fridge purposes.

There are smaller ones which looks like those AC/DC adapters meant for smaller capacity loads.
