    renewables won't be enough to meet the demand. even in developed countries, renewables are in the initial stage of application. more on pilot testing due to high cost and low output.

    IMO, we should increase our geothermal energy output. yan ang abundant sa atin. minimal fossil fuel kaya minimal din ang CO2.

    tama sa dami ng bulkan dito sa pinas...mga tycoon sa pinas sana yun naman sana ang pagaralan nila idrill...taal, taal, pinatubo, makiling, mayon butasin na at gawan ng geothermal plant

    Geothermal is a difficult resource. Very limited places only. And I think most of the places in the Philippines has been developed already by now.

    Just because there is a volcano there, it doesn't mean you can plug-in a geothermal power plant there.

    The Philippines is the second most prolific producer of electricity using geothermal energy, just next to the USA. We already have geothermal plants in Makiling and Banahaw (MakBan).
