debatable nga...
but there is increasingly more convincing evidence of the destructive effects that may be caused in part by global warming. retreating glaciers, greater temperature extremes, abnormal wildlife patterns (especially marine) among them. regarding hurricanes, it's tough to say that the recent string of hurricanes and flooding in Europe are caused by global warming (could well be random seasonal variations), but the trend is that there were more and more powerful hurricanes in the past decade than previous ones.

Kita nyo sa CNN yung evacuation ng Houston? Grabe puno ang highways getting out of Houston while all the roads are deserted. Quite a site considering it's the US's 4th largest city.

btw, it's kinda ironic that the deadliest storm in philippines (uring) did not even have hurricane-force winds. i did read the editor's note about the flashfloods etc.

OT: ang malakas ang hangin yata noon sa Pinas ay si Rosing...di ko malimutan dahil habang hawak ko yung hawakan ng gate ng bahay ng sister ko noon eh itinapon ako palabas ng kalsada(180 lbs ako noon)...panay gasgas ang inabot ko...
