Exactly my gripe. It's like their cashiers are robots who can't analyse the situation. They would only check you out on the cart lane if your items are on a cart even if it's just 5 items there. But won't let you if you have your 5 items on a basket.

Probably just conscious of what their bosses tell them. If they allow and are seen by their supervisors, goodbye. I've long given up on using logic with sm people. I just look for workarounds so my BP stays sane

I can't take the multitude of people at Landmark. Rustans and C&C is good. I like Rustans because I almost always get free parking when I use them in makati. S&R has been our go to destination for bulk groceries.

The same goes for people who linger in the restaurant when they know that there are a lot of people waiting to get a table.

I can deal with that, what annoys me is yung totally hindi naman kumakain/walang inorder as in nakatambay lang.

Actually ngayon lang, kanina ko pa iniikutan yung auntie anne's wala mabakante na table dame nakikiupo lang.

I can't take the multitude of people at Landmark. Rustans and C&C is good. I like Rustans because I almost always get free parking when I use them in makati. S&R has been our go to destination for bulk groceries.

I stopped going to Landmark this year because parking is a nightmare

My issue with S&R is you can't do full grocery there because they don't have much local products, like my favorite Jufran banana catsup

Another option is shopwise. I like that they opened at paseo since we always use that route during weekends.

anyway ako rin cash and carry grocery ang pinupuntahan ko. shopwise p.tamo nababagalan ako, and panget ang parking at maraming batang hamog LOL.

Sa may harap ng liquor store/savory. Isa sa mga stall dun tindahan ng mga tuyo/daing! Meron silang mga longga, halos parang vigan na longga. 175/pack, diko sure half kilo ata yun e.

I didn't think of that. Sa loob nga ng multi level umuulan pa rin. I go to cash and carry because they have a wide selection of items (just like Landmark)

Look at it from my perspective. So many things I knew from my younger days over there are gone or under a different name. For example, the QUAD.

Then you'd be pleased to know that Gaisano is still alive and kicking down south, and making inroads(albeit slowly) in Metro Manila. Even HappyMart is still selling piles of briefs out in the open ^_^

Me too! I only go to marketplace if I will just purchase a few items. I like central square because the grocery is right beside the parking (but make sure you purchase above P500, otherwise the parking is P100 ata for 3 hrs) I go to Uptown for the siomai. It's so good! Still, kulang pa rin selection sa BHS and Uptown and doesn't compare with Landmark or C&C
