I learned how to play the guitar, piano even the drums on my own (with the help of books and videos, too). Looking back, I wished I had formal lessons. So do not hesitate if you have the resources/time for those lessons, just go for it. Just always practice. Never stop playing. Good luck!

dati nag-aral ako ng guitar nun school time para matutunan ko 'to. My favorite band noon
Another time time after time
You make me feel so helpless I
I never tried to change your mind
I keep it to myself it's
Sometimes I've got to tell you
Is it this time I'll tell you
We've got to go to places
Somewhere I don't mind it's special
And now you find as time goes by
You're left with nothing
Meaning much
The meaning I will have to try
To take your mind to places
I wish that I could help you
But you seem less than helpless
I always tried to tell you
Someday that it'd seem so special
Time after time what's on your mind
You make me feel so helpless I
You never tried what's on your mind
You make me feel so helpless I
I feel so helpless I
You're left alone with something
And I hope for you it's one thing
That something you and yours can
Hold and hold as something special
And now you find as time goes by
You're left with nothing meaning much
The meaning I will have to try
What's on your mind so helpless I
I feel so helpless I
dapat magaling ang execution. lalo na yun bi-nold ko. habang tinutugtog ko dapat basa mata mo habang nakatingin ka sa girl na kinakantahan mo. pero walang luha

I played professionaly for a while during the mid-90's. learned playing by watching others play. tapos nakuha ko sa kulit yung mga magagaling para turuan nila ako. since I took lessons sa piano before, this really helped me in my guitar playing.
chords muna bago notes. then I moved on to scales and various tunings.
also, malaki din ang tinulong ng mga kanta ng Beatles.

yup.. I find playing the Bass guitar easier. it's mostly notes lang naman. pero yun lang talaga, ang kakapal ng strings! so at first double fingers ang gamit ko for every bass line until lumakas-lakas yung pressure ng fingers ko eventually.
you'll be snapping and popping before you know it.

October 9th, 2007 06:51 PM #30well depende.... kung base notes lang ng chord pattern at simple running notes based on scales ok lang pero kung ala red hot saka mga jazz bands madugo yun bro!
I met this guy sa perfect pitch, actually sales agent sya dun and nasa peak pa rin ako ng skills ko, grabe, nung nakita ko kung paano gumamit ng bass guitar yun eh nahiya ako sa sarili ko!
sarap mag-aral ng gitara lalo na kung may banda kayo na mahusay! iba yun feeling while you play your fav piece
i hope they bring back the Pajero[emoji120] Sent from my SM-N960F using Tsikot Forums mobile...
