honestly, i think inorder to melt your belly a combination of proper nutrition and a good cardio workout should be considered. proper nutrition like an intake of good fiber - replace white for brown like white rice for brown rice, white bread for whole wheat bread, much better if organic rice, cereals, beans etc. ... sometimes it just replacing what you eat now with 'quality' food... replace your cooking oil with olive oil, replace milk with organic soya milk, replace chips ahoy cookies with oatmeal cookies etc...when doing a cardio program, try to maximise and monitor it with your heart rate. there's a heart rate you need to maintain for fat burn or cardio. when running, if your hear rate goes down you need to step it up otherwise youre cheating. if you have money consider going to the gym with a trainer esp. if you are new, just until the time you know how to properly use an equipment, gain knowledge on form, nutrition, and most esp your body. trainers are very helpful and they have immense knowledge.
heres something i stumbled upon on men's health
The Melt-Fat Decade
The metabolic rate that allowed you to burn through super-size burritos in your 20s is slowing—dropping by 1 percent every four years. And even if the number on your scale isn’t rising, it’s likely you’re getting fatter. In a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, scientists found that men who managed to maintain their weight for 40 years still gained three pounds of fat each decade—while losing three pounds of muscle.
The likely reason: After you pass 30, your testosterone levels decrease by up to 1 percent a year. This means it becomes harder for you to build—or even maintain—metabolism-boosting muscle. (See the connection?) Another side effect: By 40, more than half of men develop some degree of erectile dysfunction.
But sagging testosterone levels aren’t your only health hazard. Starting at age 30, your systolic blood pressure rises four points per decade, and joint degeneration begins to occur.
Here’s how to turn back your biological clock—and keep midlife years in front of you.
Your metabolism is slowing
By snacking on the right foods—those that are low in sugar but rich in protein—you’ll keep your metabolic furnace stoked, and be less likely to binge between meals. THE FIX: Have one slice of hard or semihard cheese—for instance, Cheddar, Swiss, or provolone—two or three times a day. Cheese has seven grams of protein per slice and contains no sugar. That means it doesn’t raise blood-sugar levels, so your body stays in fat-burning mode. Want an alternative? Opt for a cup of low-fat plain yogurt or a stick of beef jerky, or multitask with a handful of almonds. (See “Waning *** Drive,” above.)
Medyo OT (?) but I find this article related to eating well and living well worth reading...(it is about FAT).

from what hanren posted
Olive oil is considered by some to be a "healthful" choice because it's primarily monounsaturated fat.
Monounsaturated Fat
Usually liquid at room temperature.
Examples: Olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, sesame oil, almonds, peanuts, peanut butter, avocados, olives.
Helps lower total blood cholesterol without lowering HDL ("healthy" or "good") cholesterol (we'll describe LDL and HDL in more detail later).
Goal: 10% of daily calories.
palitan nyo na yun baguio oil nyo to olive oil hehehe a bit pricey though...

eat hard-digesting food like burgers, etc. mabilis kasi metabo mo eh.
stop your excercise. para maging inactive katawan mo. after eating, wag ka tumayo para magkabilbil ka! at magtamadtamaran ka sa buhay mo, kain-tulog-kain-tulog. wag ka maging mashadong active in short.
dont think a lot about things. if heart-broken wag mashadong dibdibin at baka di ka makakain. ikain mo nalang ang problema instead.![]()
