Pots are expensive and the soil too shallow. Requires diligent watering esp if mainit. But a good compromise if wala space...

Yup, also looks like a lot of work. Can't really put in bigger pots for more soil as it makes it a lot heavier. That would require a stronger, thicker shelf that would ruin the look.

That's nice. I also want one but my Mom is afraid that it might attract snakes. We used to have vine (looked like giant kangkong) that would attach to the fence, my Mom had it all pulled out. E diba uso ngayon yung may nakadikit na plants sa bakod hahaha

Really? It does look masukal, but one of the nicest house I've ever been to had a balete tree, it felt so enchanted passing through all those hanging roots and then it opened up to a huge open space of greens.

Our perimeter is lined with bamboo and at first I was afraid that it would attract snakes, wala naman :P

Our neighbor has several of those lined up in front of their house. Malas daw yan kasi pababa yung leaves.

Sa simula lang masaya sa condo... Nabigla ako sa population density.. Kapiraso lote pero dami tao....

Ang pinaka-ayaw ko.......MAINGAY...... Lalo na mga bata.

At ang daming macho bading gising pag madaling araw patambay-tambay.

Sawa na rin ako sa mga iranian girl nagsuswimming.... At hindi ako magtatampisaw jan.... amoy nalumang adobong sinigang.

Ako kasi type ko mala holy week....konti tao......

Maganda location ng village yung tabi ng sementeryo.......

Sa condo ng friend ko 2 units lang ata per wing so the population is not that tense.

But given the choice between a house or condo(right smack in the middle of CBD). I'll still choose the house even if I'd have to walk a little farther.

Example sa Pasig. Sa house na lang ako sa Kapitolyo than a condo in Ortigas. My former boss lives in Kapitolyo kasi, pag nasa house niya parang di mo ramdam na nasa city at ang gulo sa labas

Houses in Kapitolyo are in the 12M range for townhouses, 20+M for real standalone houses.

Ortigas condos are around 6-10M lang. That's BF Home Pque price palang. So ganun kalayo yung ilalayo mo to get a house of the same price as a CBD condo.

Condos near Kapitolyo are 4-7M for the smaller units (50-60 sqm), depending on the developer.

A townhouse in the area is part of my mid-term goals. I wonder how long it'll take me to get there..

I know a few people who've chosen to sell their Forbes/Dasma property and moved elsewhere (province or overseas).

They bought a condo in BGC (a place to stay in Manila) and sold off most of their furniture.

None of them ever regret moving. Manila is just too crowded, filthy, and polluted these days.

Duterte winning doesn't help either.
