Ganun ba talaga ka sensitive yung 14500 protected batteries?

from experience, Olight "batteries" are crap. i've had Olight RCR123A that work for a few seconds then cut out they have crappy chinese cells inside

for 14500 size look for those w/ Sanyo japan cell. KeepPower or Evva. look for "cell made in japan" in the label

Sir ok kaya Fenix? They claim the all metal body offers better impact resistance:

    Fenix ARB-L14-8 145 Battery - Fenix-Store

    The Sanyo-based Keeppower's are not cheap ^_^

i can think of one reason: it's expensive. who'd buy it?
decades ago, bicolano bladesmiths used to purloin (daw!!) PNR rails, because the metal was suitable for making into knife blades. papa had such a pair of shop scissors, and they were indeed very good. they were even better than his made-in-usa tools, if i may say so.
nowadays, these smiths make their hi quality blades from automotive bulitas, daw. i have one such. matibay nga, rust-resistant rin. and it keeps its sharpness well enough.
    damascus steel? i'm still dreaming...

all those flashlight-branded "batteries" are outsourced coz flashlight makers don't make batteries

KeepPower and the likes are battery assemblers. they take cells from sanyo, panasonic, LG, samsung, etc and package them w/ protection circuits etc

problem is fenix likes to use chinese cells in their batteries. keeppower w/ sanyo 14500 is still your best option

just ask yourself if you wanna drive a Chery or a japanese car LOL

sorry sa mga SWAK fans, but that particular knife was just begging to be trolled. i would really like to see how people would actually use the screwdriver to open their gadgets....perhaps lock the knife in a vise, then turn the gadget around it so the screw comes loose?

the manufacturer admits that the item is "for bragging purposes only". "for advertisement". "for something to talk about". "to show the public what we can do".
they recognize the fact that it is too cumbersone for practical use.
but i would like one. for paperweight and conversation piece.
and to see if i can loosen a screw without breaking something.

but i am curious... it does not have a dousing rod!

    heh heh.

btw... 9000 greenbacks! that's 450K kesos! ...kotse na lang...!

Where can I go to find a replacement sheath (nylon or leather) for my Gerber MP400?

You'd think that finding a sheath is easy, but for the life of me, I can't find one especially online that didn't cost almost as much as a new one!

Try looking for a short single magazine pouch. Maxpedition or 5.11 maybe. It’s nylon but it’ll sure me MOLLE compatible. Not sure how smallers an MP400 is vs an MP600 but maybe an MP400 will fit in a Swisschamp or 111mm SAK pouch?

    My humble collection:

    1. Leatherman Wave which I got free c/o my credit card points. The bits are the ones I bought. The set goes with the car at all times.

    2. Victorinox black I bought for myself and it goes with me during my bikerides.

    3. Victorinox red was a gift and stays in the house.

    4. The PD22 is an EDC in my backpack or slingbag.

I own two other swiss army knives where the first one got lost in my work. The other one got a melted screwdriver from working on a DC selector switch[emoji51].

I’m supposed to attach a pic but unable to do so. I wonder why?
