Leatherman has a 25yr warranty, they replace damaged tools with a new one, no questions asked.

I posted these a couple of years ago....... The knife is an Ontario 499. The top left multi-tool is a Gerber. Both Ontario and Gerber were military-issued to me.

The others? I don't even remember how I got them.

Can anyone recommend a good EDC flashlight, 80 lumens at least, that will run off one AA or AAA battery? Water got into my "tactical" flashlight while i was washing it off.

I had to look it up. But, my Gerber multi-tool is the Gerber ‑ Multi‑Plier 600 Needlenose Pliers GG398

I deployed a lot and as a result, I had 2 Gerber multi-tools and 5 Ontario 499 knives in my lifetime. I gave away all except one of each which I keep as mementos.

I'm partial to victorinox. The one on the right side I had it since I was in grade school, bought it then in HK.

    From left to right.

Rambler, either ambassador or executive, don't know the model, pioneer X alox, super thinker then red and black Swiss champs.

Then I have this old gerber I grabbed off the rack probably at Walmart...a long time ago

just looking at it, closed, i think it is to make it easier to deploy, especially if with gloves.

Ah i meant Victorinox po specifically. They usually makes ones with the thumbnail notch ^_^

Thumbstuds seem more secure, but it does get in the way when slicing or sharpening. Flippers naman, parang masasagi sa pantalon, accidental deployment. Assisted opening...too clumsy for that. Thumbholes are the best compromise imho

I try to stay away from Swiss Army knives after the blade folded back and put a deep cut on my thumb. That was a long time ago.

I still have a Swiss knife but don't use the blade except for minor work. It's just relegated to the car for emergency.

My EDC knife now is a Leatherman Skeletool. Just the basics. Will try to post a photo later.

When it comes to knives, I stick with a fixed blade, period. I rarely use the knife blades in my multi-tools. Also, I only use multi-tools for lighter work when camping or fishing. I never use them on cars or the home which have their own set of dedicated tools.

Kinda iffy to EDC a fixed blade in the office though. You're just one paranoid guard away from getting arrested. Small folding knives are more concealable, and easier to explain away(what am i supposed to kill with this, cockroaches?) ^_^

Might want to consider their One Hand Opening SAKs...
They have liner locks, solid locking.

Victorinox Dual Pro X, Sentinel, Hunter XT, Soldier, Trekker, Forester, etc.

Also the Victorinox Rangergrip Series, theyre actually Wenger Rangers, which Victorinox already acquired.

Meron, if you're just after the knife yun sentinel solo lang bilhin mo, it doesn't come with other implements na Hinde Naman kailangan. Plus Meron na model na Meron pocket clip.

I'm starting to acquire Victorinox alox models and yun max 3 layers. Gusto ko yun maninipis na. Saka yun Meron scissor.

But I'm still more into Victorinox. I don't used it naman but I just like how they feel and look. In fact, I don't think I ever used it. I don't even bring it with me.

    An addiction maybe.

Royal blue rambler and green champ. Just arrived the other day.

Next the mini champ in alox and other alox models.
