the pandemic accelerated trends -- WFH, online shopping, video meetings

destroyed business models -- wala na business travel for airlines (why travel meron naman zoom)

WFH will kill commercial real estate (who needs an office bldg?)

    -

    schools

why do you need a sprawling campus now?

    your students are online

I hope this won't be the new normal when it comes to education. It's not just the knowledge from books that you need to learn from school but social interactions, sports activities and others that need physical presence.

In terms of work, although I work from home, and have been doing that since 2018, hindi pa rin advisable yung 100%, at least once or twice a week a person dapat mag report sa office. Iba pa rin yung personal mo maka interact mga tao.

To be honest, kung walang pandemic I don't see pahina ang mall sa pinas. Dumami pa nga. Kasi dito hindi lang pang shopping ang malls, one-stop- shop slash amusement park. Kelangan mo magbanko, magpaparlor, magbayad ng bills, maggrocery, kumain, manuod ng sine, check. Also, pinoys love going to the mall for leisure.

Yung mga high end mall tsaka mahirap puntahan yun ang konti tao.

yes i did say mahilig mag mall ang pinoy so matagal tagal pa ang mall apocalypse sa atin

if it wasn't for the pandemic

ngayon the financial situation of tenants will decide the fate of malls
