As what we have sa bahay. She knows what to do. Automatic ang kilos nyan, food, bills, letters, house cleaning, pets, grocery list, ........ everything.

Meron naman na saksakan ng inutil. As what we had sa condo ng asawa ko.

Tumaba nga sa kaka-kain, at tulog. Sarap buhay ........... Pina-uwi nalang namin.

imho, mas me punto if they limit deliveries, garbage collection etc to service elevators. Madudungisan yung main elevators niyan. Taking the above as is, ang OE naman.

I don't see anything wrong with the policy. Nagtrabaho ako sa heart center way way back, kaming maintenance di pwede gumamit ng regular elevators, service elevators lang. May exeptions like kung rush yung dapat gawin like after a brownout at i-start mga aircon units, pero other than that wala na.

The said policy is hardly discriminatory. Dami lang OA and not seeing the big picture.

For example sa office, yung mga managerial level walang time-in/time-out and honesty-basis ang pag-report ng leaves and absences. But yung rank and file, bantay-sarado time-in/out nila at di sila sasahod kapag di sila nakapag-file. Tinanggap nila ito as policy when they were hired. Would you call that discrimination? I don't hear them complaining.

Do you hear them complaining?

The maids/drivers/contractors, with ALL due respect, have nothing invested in it. Di sila naglabas ni isang kusing to be in the condo. If any, if it were not for their amo, they wouldn't even have a right to be on the building premises. They're just being asked to use the service elevator....that's all. Call it as part of their job description.

Besides, it's not like they're being asked to use the stairs.

^ just like getting an economy ticket while your boss travels in business/first class. there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. they can always label the elevators "owners" and "service".

As long as may service elevator na gamit mga maids i see no problem regarding this issue.

our family owns a unit in Icon,,, and yes,, that memo is posted in elevators,,, but i should say,,, I find the service elevator almost the same with the one provided for tenants/owners, or guests... and it's even wider in space,,, for delivery purpose,,, and i do not find any issue, I even take the service elevator since it is located just beside the entrance lobby whereas the regular elevator is located near the pool area. ,,

    Yan ang maganda.

Nothing wrong with that as long as may elevator din para sa maid.

Bangko Sentral have this setup, they have dedicated wash room for executives..

The Condo management maybe should just released reminders thru memo to tenants/owners to inform their maids/yaya/drivers regarding the policy or call for a meeting or conduct seminars to maids/yaya/drivers on rules and regulations of the condo instead of pinning that policy in the regular elevators that will surely attract attention not only of the maids/yaya/drivers but also of guest/visitors/owners and tenants which in turn becomes an eyesore or can lead misunderstanding of the policy.

as for our family we treat them as "helpers" or "katulong" and not "utusan" or "slave" meaning of helper that you also do some of the job in the house. for example, if i clean my car, i ask for them to assist me or when i cook dinner, they help me cut the ingredients and i do the cooking. also if we bring them out, we don't require them to wear uniforms showing they are "maids" instead we let them wear casual attire.
