THey just gave a 1 hour briefing to confirm that it was caused by a gas explosion...ZZZzzz...THey haven't pinpointed where it came from...
The igniting spark could have come from anywhere in the condo unit. Turning on a light switch, the act of plugging in an appliance or even ringing a door bell/buzzer can cause a spark. Nearly impossible to pin-point with the tools at our disposal. But chances are, I think it would be somewhere in the kitchen/dining area where most of the gas would have accumulated.
Gas leak, not bomb, caused Two Serendra blast — Mar Roxas | News | GMA News Online
(Updated 3:08 p.m.) A gas leak, and not a bomb, is the most likely cause of the May 31 explosion at the Two Serendra condominium building in Taguig City that killed three people, Interior Secretary Mar Roxas II announced Friday, citing a report from an interagency task force that investigated the incident.
"The explosion is most likely to have been caused by combustion or reaction of chemical substances," Roxas said. "In view with the foregoing, the blast was consistent with a gas explosion, most likely LPG (liquefied petroleum gas)."
The source of the gas leak, however, has yet to be determined and is the subject of an ongoing investigation, Roxas said.
If I were an owner of a unit of Serendra, I would be worried, very worried
You won't know where the next big bang will come from unless they can assure that owners this leak is an isolated case
