Problem nila is marami talagang depositor. Tpos recently tinanggal pa express lane. Malas mo if lahat ng teller eh cash deposit/withdrawal na thousands of pesos!!! :twk2:

BDO/Metro at least marming teller.

But the thing is with BDO, tellers and the services can do deposit, withdrawal and bill payment transactions. That is a big multiplier effect in terms of getting the numbers of customers processed. So just wait in a single line for the next teller/service slot to be vacated and you'll be done quickly.

Not all branches have long queues. Bottomline, if you bank with bigger banks who have more depositors you will experience longer queues... If you don't like lining up gayahan mo ako, ask the messenger boy to do the deposits haha

Most of the branches of the big boys (BPI, BDO and Metro) tend to treat their clients as numbers and not as individual relations anymore due to their sheer size and the number of transactions and clients they have. At the end of the day, it's still the branch manager who'll make a difference to your banking experience.

I used to be in banking and i now deal with the banks a lot with my current job and the amount of BS i get from some of the banks i deal with regard to our borrowings and deposit handling is mind boggling.

*GH, try scouting around the medium size banks such as Chinabank, Security Bank, and the savings banks such as PSBank, RCBC Savings, etc. You may have better chance in finding good service from them and their managers. Open an account also in a new branch that is accessible and yet, traffic isn't much yet. The older the branch, the more client traffic and transactions they have.

"P*cha BPI nanaman!" - My usual reaction everytime I see an online seller's bank details.

And regarding their new machines intended for faster transactions, no help at all IMO. They've become lazy they don't want to type the account numbers anymore, haha.

So far ok naman ako sa BPI, not because of their branches but more that I could manage naman their shortcomings. How? I do the following:

    1. I do online banking to pay bills etc. It hell sure cuts on your time waiting in line. In addition to that, all of my bills are enrolled into a credit card para menos hassle.
    2. If I need to deposit or withdraw, I plan it to be at the branch early (9am) or late in the day (around 4pm, they close 4:30). Yun sigurado walang pila or kung mayroon, manageable.
    3. Kung alanganin ang oras to do transaction, I make it a point not to transact at those branches na along the main roads, na very accessible to a lot of people. I look for a branch na isolated, at mahirap puntahan ng mga ibang tao.
    4. Kapag malas at maraming tao talaga, specially this Christmas season, i delay my transaction some other day. Pikon ako sa kakahintay.

Although I would agree with GH, one thing that I hate is that the lack of tellers is a long standing problems of all banks. Specially if you see 6 teller booths and only 2 or 3 are manned. Mura lang naman ang labor ngayon and banks makes big money, ano ba naman adding a few more people in the payroll to improve customer service.

    I suggest,
    1. Schedule
(Avoid monday & friday that most people do the
transaction, or avoid the day & time that most people
    do the banking.)
    2. Branch
(Change your branch, maybe nearby branch can
    accomodate your problem)
    3. Asset
(build a good relationship with the supervisor or
manager, they can help you personally do the
    transaction.)
    4. Bank change
(change your bank if they cannot satisfy your needs.)

For me, #1 already solved the common problem we have. But, if the urgency demand during rush-time I still use #1, & or #3!

    Have a happy banking...

Yes. This is also my experience with BPI. Long ques and few tellers. Been a BPI client since my college days (late 80's).

Actually ganun din sa BDO, long ques din but transactions seems to mover faster. They have more tellers.

sa bdo kasi pag nakita nila mahaba yung pila.. pati yung nasa new accounts pinapatulong nila..

2 branches (a total of 4 machines) ang offline

Being friendly with the tellers is also a bonus.
