Don't mind the cost of airfare. Simply enjoy the experience. My two uncles from Chicago use EVA recently.

Why not stopover for a few days in SFO, then fly southwest. That's we did in June.

I mind the cost because I'm jobless since 2020 so I won't be paying. Nahihiya ako sa whoever will sponsor my fare hehe.

I swore off EVA air because it was a nightmare for me sitting 13 hrs from Taipei to Chicago. Also, didn't like the food. I prefer ANA or JAL so it's 4 hrs from Manila to Haneda then less than 10 hrs from Japan to Chicago, plus I love the food and service at ANA, they keep on giving food lol and the lounge is really nice too. I find na maganda lounge sa Japanese and Middle East airlines

I hate flying domestic in the US so I only want 1 connecting flight lang talaga.

San Francisco's awful nowadays. There are still nice places to see, but parts of downtown saksakan na ng mga adik and homeless.

Nakow, hindi mo mapapasakay ng low cost carrier yan si Cathy. Sobrang pampered yan, malamang puro reklamo aabutin niyan dito about the cabin, the service and the fact that bare basic fare lang, so you have to pay for the luggage you check in (i doubt she travels light either)

You're right, I don't travel light. I don't pack my luggage, my Mom does it for me. Kaya yung mga travel ko na mag isa ako I ALWAYS end up crying because of stress sa weight limit. Last time I was in the US I ended up with 5 balikbayan boxes that my Mom paid for. I've heard too many nightmares about low cost carriers, I don't wanna risk it. Even my boss told me I won't survive Ryanair hahaha

Flying nowadays, ay parang sasakay ng public bus. Unless you fly, first, business, and premium economy.

That's okay, I enjoyed my joblessness on the first year, but after that I missed having a job na.

BTT: I feel so bad, my kinakapatid has sarcoma. My Tita said he can go anytime, he is the same age as my brother. My Mom and Tita are the same age naman, early 80s and it looks like my Tita will have the same fate as my Mom of burying her son My fat lab is 13 years old and I can't imagine life without her. How much more losing a son.
