    minsan masmura depende sa situation...

sa waterproofing may choices ka... critical ito since madalas ito nagiging problema ng roofdeck...

first of all, pinakaimportante, dapat READYMIX CONCRETE ANG BUHOS, AT ISANG BUHUSAN LANG... hindi pwede putol putol, dapat monolithic yun roofdeck para walang tagas talaga sa concrete, then waterproofing:

    a. sahara
    b. mortar seal
    c. rubberized asphalt

kami we have experience both with and A and B, but we suggest C - rubberized asphalt, kasi yun dalawa kung hindi magaling yun naglagay yari na... sa rubberized asphalt dapat maayos yun pagkagawa...

    may boysen na water based...

wala ng magagawa kung ganun... nakapirma na kasi... breach of contract nalang kung lampas na yun date dapat ng turnover, tapos usually may payment for delay...

may mga ganun contractor pero wala ng kinalaman dun ang owner, hindi kayo pwede habulin dont worry... kami we established lots of credit line, pero we make sure na bayad kami on time or minsan before pa lang kasi for long-term relationship kami with the suppliers. we dont see ourselves getting out of the contracting and construction industry for the next 100 years... Direct kami kadalasan mismo dun sa manufacturer kaya hindi kami pwede tumakas, at yun ibang supplier eh family friend or family ng blockmate ko sa college...

Kami membrane sa ilalim (is this your rubberized asphalt?) at sahara as an independent layer sa itaas, may tulo pa rin on a 6m x 12m deck. Ready mix concrete ang buhos (used a boom to spit it out upstairs), at isang buhos lang... what could have caused the problem?

    tsinita:
Use boysen brand na lang, madami silang water based , visit www.boysen.com.ph

    raikonen:
pag bumili ka ng yero better ask the thickness in mm not in gage #24 or #26, kc madaya ang mga manufacturer ngayon, dati kc standard #26 is 0.4mm, ngayon may mabibili kang 0.35mm and 0.3mm pero #26 pa rin ang tawag kc yun nga nakasanayan na natin #26 sa makapal or #31 sa maninpis, ang masama pa nito UNDERSIZE lahat sila (paging DTI) example sa 0.4mm na yero, nakatatak sa yero mismo 0.4mm thick pero if you measure it in caliper nasa 0.36 -0.35 mm or lower , sa 0.35 naman actual s 0.32-0.31 or less pa, so better Buy #24 , std #24 is 0.6mm pero actual siguro is below 0.50mm

    109:
try INSULATION FOAM , use 10mm thick double sided foil, I think hindi magbababago heat protection niya unless napunit o nabutasan, price around 4000 ++, 1mt high x 50 mts long/roll

do tiles installation will help the waterproofing problem using abc/mortar bond/portland cement combi as grout? kasi yung unang sahara seems to work only after few years, ngayon meron ng seepage galing sa roof deck ko.

15-20K is for the total floor area regardless kung 2 or 3 floors house mo? how about the roofdeck, paano computation nun to the overall cost?

yong mga projects nyo na with roofdecks, any problems so far? tatagal ba na walang tagas yong roofdeck in the years to come given na maayos pagkakagawa as you described? our plan kasi is to have a roofdeck instead of the usual conventional roofing lang. (housing loan na lang kailangan, lot is already ours)
this is similar to those new houses malapit sa Filinvest 2 sa QC na may roofdecks, which makes me think kung may problema ba mga yon...those houses, btw, are constructed by Filinvest inhouse construction daw.

Follow-up question po regarding flat rooftop....kailan nagiging mas mahal pag ganito ang set-up? sabi ng kakilala naming architect mas mahal daw pag ganito ng 30% compared to traditional roofing...

I think there is a 4th one, membrane.... Tama ba?

We had this on our deck (approx 12m x 5.5m), plus sahara....

    yup may membrane

construction materials depend on the location of the project, for example yun petronas tower they used reinforced concrete instead of steel.
